The truth!
I have purchased many gold-plated cords from various vendors on Amazon. These are the only ones I ever went back to and bought again. These are just extremely classy the way the exterior of the plug is black but the interior is gold. The cables are very flexible, they are not stiff like most high end cables. I really like how little they stick out on the side of my guitar pedals. The sound quality also seems really nice. I’m not en expert, but these seem like the truth!
