Universal Headboard or Footboard Hardware Nuts and Bolts 4 inches and 2 1/2" Long

After a few moves, I never found the bolts to attach the headboard to the frame on a twin bedI started by using the longer ones, but it quickly became apparent I needed the smaller ones. In fact, I could've used even shorter ones. The headboard thickness was much thinner than I thought it was (no, I did not measure it before I ordered). On the positive side, they are very sturdy and I feel like they'll last forever. I did have to shift the box springs a little further downward so that they weren't pressing against the end of the bolt, but not so much that the springs and mattress would move or shift if sat upon or used.Learn from my mistake and measure the thickness before ordering, and you should do just fine!

I recently bought some new bedroom furniture at auction and it didn't come with hardware for the headboard or footboard. So I did what anyone else would do. Hit Amazon. Within minutes I found these and knew they would work. A few days later, my furniture was securely attached without ANY issues. I would highly recommend these for anyone needing hardware for their bed.

Could come in better package at least a thicker bag that won’t rip

I cannot say enough good things about this bed frame. It is very sturdy. It was so easy to assemble. It holds the mattress firmly and provides excellent support the entire length of the mattress. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This didn’t help at all I wound up doing it completely different

I ordered a package of new universal headboard bolts (supplied by STL Beds) for $19.99. I received packaging that was a zipper bag with a bar code label rather than what I consider original company sealed packaging. There were only 7 nuts instead of 8 and all of the washers were oily like they came from a machine shop. Per the picture, the large zipper bag is how the product was packaged. I cleaned oil off the washers using the paper towel depicted by red arrows and put them in the snack zipper bag since I consider them dirty. The nuts were not attached to the bolts, I did that to show one nut is missing. For the price, I expected all parts and all to be clean and new.

The length of the bolts were great. Used all 4 long bolts to put together my headboard. Now i have 4 short ones left. It’s perfect and fast delivery!

This question I cannot answer for I did not use them I didn't need them but I kept in case I do
