Effective in reducing night pain associated with cubital tunnel syndrome
I work in orthopedics, so I think my expectations for this brace and form of treatment (of night bracing) is more realistic than most of the other reviewers. This brace, along with other night splints, are designed to alleviate or lessen pain at night, which is typically the worst time for this type of syndrome because people often lay with bent elbows for long periods of time, putting pressure on the lunar nerve. This brace will alleviate pain and numbness associated with ulnar nerve compression at night. It will not completely eliminate day pain too when only worn at night. As for the fit, I’m skeptical that people aren’t applying correctly. I have skinny arms (biceps diameter: 11 inches, forearm diameter: 9.5 inches) and I’m an active/rough sleeper and the small/medium fits me well and hasn’t fallen off after a week of wearing. For my case specifically, I am currently experiencing significant cubital tunnel syndrome 24/7 because I’m 8 months pregnant. My day pain and numbness remains the same, but my hand strength is much better when I wake up because my nerve isn’t compressed while I sleep. My night pain has been relieved. I was waking up every 1-2 hours with severe elbow and forearm pain along with numbness of the ulnar nerve distribution (pinky, ring and 1/2 of middle finger) that would prevent me from falling back asleep and then prevent me from holding a tooth brush or opening orange juice in the morning because of the weakness caused by the nerve compression. The brace alleviated that for me. I will still wake up occasionally with pain because I would hyperextend (the brace prevents flexion past 20 degrees and hyperextening more than 5 degrees, but it rarely happens and the quality of sleep has drastically improved and the amount of pain has drastically decreased. The summary is that this brace did not alleviate 100% of the pain, but it drastically reduced it and improved my quality of sleep and hand strength in the morning. I cannot sleep without it and am very thankful I purchased it. If your night pain and numbness is severe and preventing you from sleeping and/or causing weakness, then I highly recommend it! The most effective treatment is a steroid injection, but an orthopedic physician will want to know you tried the conservative treatment of a brace first. This is a reasonably price, effective first option for treatment.

It worked - but don't stop
I'd been waking up with a low slow throb in my elbow - felt like a problem with my funny bone, which carried over during the day. Investigation led me to Ulnar Nerve Entrapment at the elbow (aka Cubital Tunnel Syndrome). The symptoms and likely causes described my situation exactly - I have long slept on my side with my elbows bent. I tried to sleep differently but the habit is too ingrained. I found this item on Amazon, tried it and it worked perfectly. No more pain, and no issues. I found it easy to work with and that it performed perfectly.Update a year later: don't think that it goes away. If I stop using the brace, I revert to old habits and the pain returns.

I CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT!
I never write a review but I was compelled to write one because I’m so happy with this product. I’ve been dealing with cubital tunnel syndrome in my right arm for a long time. I was losing sleep nightly because of the frequent waking up. I ordered this brace because of the positive reviews I read.First night with this on, I slept amazing until my first 3 fingers started tingling. Those are signs of carpal tunnel. So now I sleep like a cyborg with an elbow brace and wrist brace on my right arm. I sleep so well now that my fingers aren’t waking me up at night. Matter of fact after a week or so of use, my symptoms during day improved as well and can keep my elbow bent for longer periods of time without using brace. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Now for a slight negative , I ordered the S/M based on the sizing. I’m a 5’7 170lb male and by no means have pythons for arms but it’s a little snug . Perhaps it’ll loosen up with use but it’s snug, not uncomfortable at all, but could use slightly more room.

Immobilizes as advertised but NOT good for smaller arms: leaves bruises
Like others with ulnar nerve entrapment syndrome, I was advised to get a stiff brace to prevent elbow flexion especially during sleep. Liked the look of this one. The first night, the brace kept slipping down to my wrist, so I tightened it up more the second night. Awoke with finger tingling, elbow pain and dark bruises from the metal struts. Maybe it's great for others, but I'm returning it.

Good for Adult Male With Cubital Tunnel
I was recently diagnosed with moderate Cubital tunnel after having an EMG for some elbow issues. Technically I have cubital tunnel in both arms, but I noticed specifically that my right arm was bending a lot at night and causing my pinky and ring finger to fall asleep. I first was sleeping with an arm brace I used to use playing baseball, but it wasnt rigid enough, and I found i was bending my arm still. I ordered a size Large in this (Im 5'10", 165 for reference). Fit pretty well, and was for sure rigid. The first couple nights I actually found myself waking up in pain because its like my body was trying to bend that arm still but not realizing that there was a brace on. Pretty soon after though, a great thing happened - my body just kind of learned to keep my arms straight while sleeping. I havent used this brace for like 3-4 weeks now as my I havent needed it - my arms just stay straight at night and I havent had to mess with symptoms of cubital tunnel. So maybe the best result of using this (that I hadnt originally intended) is that I wont have to use it forever...and that it worked well to help train my body as I work to address the tightness in my inner elbow.

Awkward to use on right arm (with your left hand).
Item was recommended to me by a therapist to use on my right elbow for ulnar nerve entrapment. Unfortunately, I ordered a size too large and had to return it. Since it was too large, I found it awkward to manipulate and get it to fit properly with my left hand. It might have worked better if I had ordered a smaller size and, therefore, not had so much excess material to work with. I will probably order a smaller size to see if that works. I found the item to be well made and the price reasonable.
