We have long forgotten what cylindrical fluorescent lamps are. Yes, yes – those same lamps, when incandescent bulbs began to disappear from the market due to their energy efficiency. Then compact fluorescent bulbs appeared on the market, which, after a short period, were also replaced by more practical, economical, reliable, and compact LED lamps.Recently, I had to deal with a problem when I needed to replace a cylindrical fluorescent lamp. In my basement, there are old fixtures that I forgot to change during the last renovation. When I started looking for a replacement for my burnt-out bulb, I faced the problem that ordering one is relatively expensive, but ordering a box of 20 to save on the price of one bulb doesn't make sense. That's when I started looking for a replacement from the Sylvania brand and came across this product. I had to do some homework and understand how these types of lamps differ from each other. In my case, the main factor was that the length of the lamp had to be exactly 24 inches. That's when I realized that this lamp would be an excellent replacement for the branded one. And eight lamps included in the kit, I hope, will cover my need for lamps for the next 10 years. And that's assuming I don't replace the fixtures in the basement. The 6500 K light temperature of this lamp creates a complete feeling of daylight, and the low energy capacity of 18 W will help save money in the family budget.I was pleasantly surprised at how well the lamps themselves were packaged when they were delivered. This is double packaging, including cardboard and a pathetic material protecting the lamps during shipment. And the box in which the lamps were packaged was packed in a branded Amazon box, which added an additional level of protection. The lamps arrived to me intact and safe. The replacement procedure itself took no more than a few minutes, and the result in terms of light temperature and the dimensions and diameter of the original lamps and these lamps can be seen in my photos. Perhaps this is the cheapest replacement I could find online, so I recommend this product to everyone who uses old lamp standards and give it all the deserved five stars.

I have purchased this size bulb for my bathroom (which uses two) approximately every 3-6 months at $10-$13 per bulb from a well-known brand that has been in business for over 130 years. Similar lights have lasted many years, so I called an electrician to test the wiring. Unfortunately, that was money wasted as everything was fine. I continued to purchase the same brand until my local home improvement store was out one day, and I had to buy another name. Once installed, the replacements lasted 4-5 years. Regrettably, the manufacturer was the issue the entire time. As one recently began to flicker (and as most know, that means the other is not too far behind), I fortuitously saw these, read the product description and reviews, and ordered them. Upon (fast) arrival, I found them perfectly and protectively packaged. While most would not mention the packaging for shipping, it is now sadly rare that a company packs delicate items with care (and correctly). The bulbs were more protected than the others, which I paid three times as much. I inspected each one, and they were all intact (as expected). As for the product test, I removed and replaced the failing bulb, and it worked flawlessly, with brighter results (which I highly prefer). I have two bathrooms that use this specific type of bulb, so the number (eight) should last me years, provided their longevity matches higher quality counterparts. I will return with updates, whether good or bad and let others know the length of use I get from them. But for now, I must share the same sentiment as the majority and give them a perfect rating. As long as the price remains relatively the same and the lightbulbs last, the value is there, and I will look to no other brand for my future needs. 5/5.

The first thing to note is how well these are packed. The company takes care to ensure these bulbs arrive undamaged. The bulbs fit just like any other standard G13 tube. I’m using in an old T12 fixture and they work just fine. The light is bright and the color temp matches my other 3000K bulbs. Compared to many other options, these are a great value for the price. Time will tell how long they will last.

So the G13 pin fitting is exactly the same as my older "Fatter Tubes" (green end) , and I researched that before I ordered , so simple matter using a step stool to rotate the old lamp until it can be pulled out of the fitting at the 180 degree to the fitting , and mount the new tube. I put in the pins on one side first then the other side easily slides into place , rotate until the tube lights up and the job is done ....I had three (3) of my cupboards with dead tubes so this took me maybe 15 mins to do , afterwards I used the packaging materials from the new tubes to wrap the old tubes for disposal , the fluorescent tubes can contain mercury in the gas in the tubes , so do require proper disposal , check your local information as to which waste site accepts the tubes ..Other than that , it's a good easy job with illuminating results

I am so glad these fit my fixture because the diameter of the light bulb is actually smaller than what I have always used! I made sure I ordered the right length (24") but never thought about the diameter! The diameter of these bulbs is 1" but my previous bulbs have been 1.75" I usually buy my bulbs at Lowes but I did not want to squeeze in a trip to the store, and these were less expensive! When they arrived today my son immediately noticed the diameter difference but that the pins were the same distance apart as the old bulb so I decided to give it a try and to my delight the light came on. Works great--light output the same as the old bulb. Each light bulb is in a packing sleeve--not super thick but all the bulbs arrived without damage. Glad I ordered these!
