Q: Installed ok golf cart radio. Am I doing something wrong?

This can install in a golf cart. If you're having reception issues it may be a grounding problem. Try mounting the antenna through a 6"X6" steel plate with the plate being on the underside.

Q: Can you be specific on how to properly ground? What, exactly, should be attached to the ground wire? The serrated ring or the bolt? Tx

The serrated ring is the ground. Therefore if you put a hole in a metal car body it would ground to the body. Hope this helps.
