For anybody like me who was wondering whether it works in the UK - it does! I didn't want to spend £25 on a freeview box and this German box came up in my searches. They both use the same DVB-T2 technology so this works fine with English Freeview and even has an English language mode! Be aware though, it does come with a German plug.

Great price sure - its CHEAP but the reviews on this saying that this is fine in the UK are incorrect. So yes, you can select English at the boot menu very easily - but for the country, the only one selectable is Germany. That doesn't seem to be an issue though until you tune it in and all of the HD channels now/next, as well as the EPG programme data and +24hrs programme & channel data is corrupt and displays ramdom letters. The standard def. channels are I would say 90% ok but the DVB-T2 / HD channels and all programme info - all corrupt. This tuner really needs a UK firmware in my view, its a compromise at best - yes its cheap but these issues are not minor annoyances, they're major.

Although intended for German TV, works absolutely fine for UK Freeview including the channels in HD.UK channels are in a different order to usual and it's fitted with a European plug.
