It's relatively expensive compare to other substitutes. But I needed what I could be sure was a proper cyan cartridge from Brother because I seemed to be getting a strange blue from the one I was using (no name). This solved the problem.

It's just the best. I've bought off brands and they do not compare. Will be sticking to the Brother's brand - despite it being more expensive.

Needed this for my work printer and it was exactly what I needed.

First time I have replaced toner on this 4 month old very lightly-used Brother color laser printer (starter toner "ran out" after about 200 pages). When I replace the toner, it's printing thick streaks down the sides of the pages, ruining all of those, and causing me inordinate time to try to fix it, probably without success.I suppose most if not all printers and toner are pretty bad, and that there's not much we can do as consumers about this other than perhaps contact the attorney general's office of our state to ask them to launch an investigation.I guess it's foolish to expect to reliably use a brand new set of genuine toner cartridges on a nearly brand new printer for my work. But this just doesn't appear possible, no matter how much you spend, and no matter how new or how genuine the printer or the toner cartridges.
