Attachment Cables May Fail
The install went ok. Small nuts were hard to hold onto for someone with large hands working in a tight area but I got it done. Works as advertised and well built. Sort of. After using it maybe 5 times one of the cables pulled out of its attachment end. A quick trip to Lowes fixed the problem with the purchase of some metal chain and S-hooks.

Do not buy if you want something that works.
Awful. It looks great, fairly easy to attach to the vehicle but fell apart literally the first time it was opened. I am hoping this was just a fluke. The fact that I had to drill into my wife’s jeep to add this and it falls apart (retention straps) is frustrating at very least.

Easiest install and very sturdy
Don’t pass on this tailgate table. Very simple install, comes with the plastic removal tool, drill bit and Allen wrench. If you have a JL like mine, pop off the small plastic section, drill through the 2 cylinder pieces, take off the rest of the plastic and drill through the only two factory marked dimple. Put spacer sleeves in and screw on. Total install, maybe 10 minutes taking my time. No rattle, no give at all!

Quick installation with no drilling on my JKU
The media could not be loaded. Fast and easy to install with no drilling on my 2016 Rubicon JKU. I would have preferred a solid shelf but I could not find one that was light and didn’t require drilling. I covered the shelf with inexpensive vinyl shelf liner to keep small things from falling through the gaps. I wrapped the exposed tailgate wires with black electrical tape so that he loose colored wires did not show through the gaps. I also cut and re-installed a piece of tailgate wiring shroud to cover the gap between the table and the left end of the wire channel. I think it looks great, seems to be sturdy, and is a good value for the money. If they provided a solution for the exposed wires and if the table was sold, I would give it 5-stars
