Repetitive
I enjoyed reading this book to my class and they enjoyed trying to guess the rhyming words before I read them. The illustrations are cute and relevant. A lovely book for adults to share with children.

improve kids self confidence
this is a picture book for kids, it encourages kids to be brave in many ways; the book is illiterate with colourful and cute pictures, standard 32 pages picture book, a lot of brave examples in the book, i’m sure my kids already experienced some of the scenarios, this book makes a good time to encourage the kids by example, to improve their self confidence and let them know they’re brave, or how to brave by doing something really small and simple

A bit of a drudge
It's a noble idea to have a book which encourages bravery and kindness in children, unfortunately I don't think this book is very successful. It's a bit of a drudge to get through it and feels a little like you are lecturing the child you are reading it to. It's also a bit too long for the target audience. In addition, the book attempts to cram in a lot of diversity which may end up with the adult having to answer questions about what is going on which distract from the basic message of the book, such as a child going through chemotherapy and a same sex couple sharing a bed. Obviously there is nothing wrong with this, it just feels like there's an awful lot going on in the book which may over-complicate it or detract from what it is trying to say.I personally would prefer a book with an actual narrative which the child can relate to and get the message of the book almost surreptitiously, rather than one like this which repeatedly hammers home the message on each page

Encourages questions
This book has quite a lot going on - and not a smooth flowing story. It did prompt lots of questions - but it is a long story and lots for little ones to take in.The vague story behind it is good - but I’m not sure if it’s too complex for the age range it’s for.

Almost perfect
This book is perfect to give kids a confidence boost and show them ways they are already brave. It reminds children that they can be good people and acknowledge that in their daily lives. Being brave comes in many forms! I love that this encourages kids to be honest with their feelings and push themselves. I don’t approve of pushing vaccines on children as they are not old enough to decide what poisons they want In their bodies but I just change the wording on that page to telling the doctor “no thank you” instead of closing their eyes and taking the jabs. Standing up for your sovereignty and making healthy choices about our wellbeing is brave. The illustrations are great, the pages are colourful and the book has an all round lovely feel to it.

Good book
I loved the message of the book.Is particularly helpful for a shy child .Its well illustrated. Well written, shows your child how to be brave in different scenarios.I've dropped a star, as I read in to our 3 granchildren all at different times and they all said the same thing. They enjoyed it at first and came up with different situations were they could be brave. But then after a few pages they got bored and found it too repetative. Its a good book to help children with their confidence.
