Heal Faster with Advanced Wound Protection!
These Band-Aid Brand Extra Large Hydrocolloid Bandages are phenomenal for serious wound care – they truly live up to the promise of helping wounds heal better and faster. I bought them because I had a big scrape on my forearm (about 2 inches across) from a biking accident. Regular bandages weren’t cutting it; they’d soak through or fall off, and the wound was drying out and cracking. A friend recommended hydrocolloid bandages, so I gave these a shot. Each bandage is quite sizeable (extra large covers about 3 inches by 4 inches area) – perfect for my scrape. They are a sort of thick, flexible patch with a gel-like pad. You apply it over the wound, and it completely seals it off from the outside environment. I mean, completely waterproof and airtight. Once I smoothed it down, I could shower with it and no water got in. It also sticks amazingly well. I left the first one on for three full days. It didn’t budge at the edges at all, despite me moving my arm a lot, getting it wet in the shower, and even accidentally grazing it against things. No rolling up or peeling – it was like a second skin. Inside, the magic was happening: the hydrocolloid created a moist environment under the bandage that is ideal for healing. When I finally removed the bandage (which, by the way, you should do by stretching it along the skin to release – it came off pretty painlessly that way), the difference was striking. The scrape was no longer an open, raw red mess; it had softened and new skin was already covering much of it. The bandage had turned kind of white and puffed where it absorbed the wound fluids, which shows it was doing its job. And importantly – zero infection, and the wound looked clean and much smaller. I used a second bandage for another two days to continue the healing process. By the end of that, the wound was essentially closed and just pink with new skin. I am convinced that using these hydrocolloid bandages prevented a possible infection and definitely minimized scarring. In the past, my scrapes would scab and scar more. This time, keeping it moist under these bandages made it heal beautifully with less scarring. Also, because the bandage cushioned the area, I didn’t feel pain every time something brushed against the wound. It’s like it absorbs the shock. These have become my go-to for any sizable injuries now (cuts, blisters, etc.). The only minor thing to be careful about is not to use them on an actively infected wound (they’re not meant for that) and to make sure the skin around is dry when you apply so it sticks well. They are a bit pricier per bandage, but considering I only needed two to handle what would’ve taken a dozen regular bandages, it’s worth it. Band-Aid’s Hydrocolloid Bandages get a full 5 stars from me for making healing so much easier and cleaner.

Amazing!
These are the best. The last time I tripped and scraped a knee, the initial healing process was so painful. I tripped on cracked cement recently and fell with most of my weight on one knee. The result was a bad scrape once again. I thought I was going to go through the same pain as last time and I didn't want to. I found these, and they are exceptional. They stick extremely well and I'm feeling no pain at all. I'm changing them every day after I shower and I forget that I even have them on. Worth every penny for the relief they give! Update: My knee healed well but I'm still using them to protect the new skin for a while. My skin is white with no scarring and back to normal. I amazingly never developed a scab and the healing process was seamless. They're not cheap but worth every penny if you want to heal well without suffering. I bought quite a few boxes to have on hand for my family and myself just in case we ever need them because they are nothing less than phenomenal. My knee initially looked like roast beef and I should have taken pictures so I could have shown people just how well these work....Just trust me and buy them! :)

Worth it to help your open wound heal
I got burned by a huge cast iron square skillet and then ripped the top layer of skin off. The wound was open for days and a large, awkward size. This bandaid just barely covered the area needed. My friends noted that it looked like a nice bandaid. I would forget I had it on. I went swimming in the pool and the river and had no leakage whatsoever. The first few days, when my wound was still fresh, I could see the bandaid pad swelling up because it was absorbing the pus from my wound. It was pretty gross, but the bandaid kept it contained. I changed my bandage once a day. The only issue was that after a week of wearing the same bandage almost constantly, my skin started to hurt from where the glue was on my skin. Luckily by this point, I was ready to wear two smaller bandaids without the special pad. I know the cost of these is high, but the Amazon price is better than the drugstore price and the quality and performance of this bandaid is worth it if you have an open wound you really don't want to scar. My skin is still healing, so I can't say for sure I won't scar at all, but the wound closed beautifully.

Good but slimy
Does the job just be aware they do leave some white slimy thing behind and it looks gross but it definitely helps the healing process but don’t use for note then two days cuase you need to let the wound breath too

Quicker healing, good adhesive. Solid choice.
So I actually did a little comparison testing on bandaids, and these are a solid ranking item. I do believe the formula helps with healing quicker and possibly with less scarring (hard to truly compare the scarring factor). They do have a good adhesive to them, unlike other brands which just start losing grip and peeling off if you shower or bend a certain way. These stay on fairly long and don't stick like crazy glue when you need to peel them off. A solid bandaid choice.

Heals great
These bandaids actually help heal quicker than normal bandaids. The only downside is it’s super sticky and it’ll pull off the scab.

Loving these bandaids
I use a lot of bandaids (unfortunately). I usually use regular hydrocolloid ones, but those usually they get these huge unsightly white spots on them. These bandaids are hydrocolloid and regular band aids combined! It's terrific no unsightly white dots. Just looks like a regular bandaid, but heals at the speed of hydrocolloids. I would recommend & would totally buy these. They're going to be my new to to bandaids.Edit: I wouldn't leave on for 48 hours. I would suggest changing every 24 hours.
