It will work up to 5kilometers I use it for 1000 feet with strong signal At 100 feet it will work as well. Then put a small switch at the barn end and attach any equip you need, computers, wireless ap, printers. Whatever

I have used these at golf courses where you can't see through the trees because they are so thick and my radios still work perfect. No problems at all. These will work through trees
