Beautiful Daybed
This daybed is very sturdy, very quiet, and arrived without directions - however - it was so easy to put together I did not require them. I am very pleased with the quality, value for money, and comfort (mattress was not included). It is tall enough to fit under bed storage boxes but short enough for a very petite lady to easily get in and out of. It is beautiful, though more cherry colored than espresso. Very pleased!

Beautiful Daybed
I moved into a small senior apartment and found a host of issues with the tiny bedroom. Too small for a full bed. Always cold and due to the location I was picking up parking garage smells and disrupted sleep from outside sources. After almost a year of sleeping on my sofa, I decided to put a daybed in my living room and turned my bedroom into an office, sewing room, TV room. So far so good! The directions are a bit confusing at first. But after sorting everything out and studying the pictures, I was able to get it put together pretty easily by myself. (I am 78) and managed to get it done in about an hour, taking time to make sure I was not making any. mistakes.I gave it 4 stars because a few of the slats were short and I had to put screws in the longer ones.I paired it with a mattress in a box and I am very happy with it.I am going to make a proper cover for it and enjoy sleeping in a real bed again!

Pretty Solid
Package was smaller and lighter than expected, which made moving it to the room I was gonna put it in easy. Pretty solid piece of furniture. All pieces were made of thick heavy pieces of wood and a total of 350lbs was on the frame at one point and didn’t feel unstable. Super easy to put it together. However, I suggest not using power tools and if you do, be SUPER CAREFUL. Only bad thing is cosmetic; you can see the hardware on the outside of the frame.

Not clean, allergenic, cheap slats
This bed frame is absolutely beautiful but quite bothersome. It came with plenty of splinters, wood dust in some of the drilled holes, and a light dusting of fiberglass.I wiped down every piece with a damp cloth before I assembled the bed frame, but, regardless of that, every time I touched the wood, I broke out in a rash. I have washed the lacquered parts of the wood with mild soap and water, so I can touch those parts without an issue now, but whenever I touch the slats while making the bed, I get a rash. The frame is supposedly pine. I’m not allergic to other pine furniture, so I guess I’m allergic to whatever it’s treated with. When I lie on the bed, I feel the slats bend under my weight, and I don’t weigh much.Returning it would require packing it back up in the box, and it’s so heavy that I’m reluctant to go that route. Maybe I can get some bed slats at IKEA…If you do buy this frame, the instructions are kind of misleading. You may want to try attaching the corner beams to the back first rather than to the sides.
