A must have device
Regardless of what job you’re working. You have no idea how useful this thing is until you start to use it. This this makes life so easy. Every measurement method you may use. This device has a setting for that placement. Seems super accurate. I didn’t pull a tape measure out to verify the accuracy. But it’s hasn’t lead me astray yet. Super portable very small. Easy to keep where ever without notice or obstruction. I keep it in my glove box and i use it quite often. This thing has more function than I even used so far. It does so much math for you. You can measure a distance and than measure a new distance and so forth and it add each one together so you know the over all length you will need. You can move the measurements to be taken from the front of the device or from the back of the device. Super easy to read. So versatility

Wish there were more modes
This thing is accurate enough to get the general job done. I work at a surveying firm and we use these to measure down manholes to get pipe sizes and depth. The bad thing is that we measure with survey feet, which is decimal feet not "architechal" feet. If adding that in, then it would be fantastic for firms who regularly drop these into manholes. I measured our room for insulation and it shot 70' away and the light was clear, something to boast as "loosing" the light is a big problem during daylight.A trick to use these is keep the setting on measuring from the back of the meter and set it against the wall or a hard surface. That way you don't have to worry about keeping the shot perpendicular or if it has a slope. I know it sounds obvious, but even new guys use things like their stomach, chin, or just holding it up in the air when they could use the rim, wall, ground.Your 2nd and 3rd picture also has a misspelling: it says Accuracy ups on the 2nd picture, and mesure on the 3rd picture.Edit: after playing with it more there is a mode for decimal feet, but after the kids mashed it a few times it would not shoot. I had to take the batteries out but it's done this 2 times so I am keeping it at a 4/5 until I find if it was a user error and not the measure erroring (like if they were in a wrong setting, but it just would stay stuck on the screen even if I changed any buttons).

An accurate laser measure that is ready to use right out of the box.
Featured is ACPOTEL's DTAPE, Model: DT100, Laser Distance Meter made available by Amazon & Vine for review.I am an "old school" ruler and tape measurer guy, but I needed something easier to estimate materials for a remodeling project later this year. At times it can be difficult to find someone to hold the other end of the tape measure when you need them. I was glad to see this laser measure offered here..The DTAPE, Model: DT100, Laser Distance Meter comes complete and ready to go right out of the box. Included with the distance meter are two AAA batteries, a wrist strap, a carrying case you can attach to your belt and a well written user manual. It comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty as an added perk. The laser meter is easy to operate and has a nice lighted LCD that shows modes of operation, battery strength as well as your measurements. The meter's memory will record your last 20 measurements which is very handy when your dangling on a ladder measuring. The laser meter will measure and compute distance, area, volume, pythogoras and has a continuous measure mode. The results can be displayed in meters (1.21m), feet (3.9ft) , inches (43 3/8in) and a combined feet and inches (3' 11" 1/16). The manufacturer states the meter is accurate with-in a 1/16 of an inch although I haven't noted a problem in my short distance tests so far. I did several long distance tests, but I lacked man power to verify the results. The laser light is very easy to see indoors for targeting your measurement point. Outdoors can be a little tricky depending on the Sun. In the outdoor shadows the laser had a visible range of about 30 feet before you lose track of it. In the bright Sun you could not see it at all although the meter would still record measurements. Just for the heck of it I steadied the meter on a table in my driveway and aimed it at my neighbor's house across the street. Surprisingly the meter reported a measurement of 188' 05" 1/16. Naturally I couldn't verify it, but it was close in my rough estimate. All in all I am still getting use to this electronic gadget which I find will be ideal for my current remodeling estimates. The first time I have some serious cutting of materials I will probably double check with the tape measure, but hey that's the "old school" in me until I am comfortable using this.
