E. D. Smith Cherry Preserves

Unfortunately the E D Smith cherry preserves arrived open, with preserves all over the bubble wrap even though the packaging was adequate. I was also disappointed that the consume by date was only for one month more. Therefore I am reluctant to reorder this product, even though my siste,r who purchased it at her Costo, highly recommended it. So I an unable to really rate the product myself since I wasn't able to enjoy it.

E.D. Smith's products are all excellent. The problem is not enough is available. These preserves were wonderful. But I haven't been able to get any more. HELP!!!

The picture implied that t was two bottles for 14.98. Surprised when I only got one bottle. Making the jam way too expensive.

The photo implies that you get ED Smith preserves, but it's Trader Joe's brand which is gross in comparison to the ED Smith brand. The ED Smith cherry preserves are the most amazing preserves on the face of the earth. No one can compare to ED Smith when it comes to cherry preserves. TJ used to sell ED Smith, but for whatever reason, they stopped. I wish I had known that they were stopping, I would have bought a case of the ED Smith preserves. Thinking it was simply a label change, I bought three jars of the TJ brand, all of which I ended up throwing away because they tasted like garbage.

This stuff is the bomb. Buy it at Trader Joes. It's like crack-addicting. Great with toast, ice cream, pancakes, in yogurt. Dying to try it with pork roast.
