I have an old home built in 1916 that needed a doorbell. My dog is very effective most of the time, but I am hard of hearing and needed more. The doorbell works well and provides many options for sound from normal doorbell chimes to various tunes. I was able to easily select something I liked that I can more easily hear. The only negative I have is that the screws that were supplied for more reliable installation were absolute garbage. They were for installation in drywall but were too soft for driving into wood. Yes, I drilled proper pilot holes, but the screws were just too soft. They almost broke. For me it was no big deal to walk across the street and get stainless steel screws. Most items that supply installation hardware supply better fasteners. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

I liked the different melodies that it has which I can change.Easy to install great price. volume is perfect and I now do hear the door perfectly.

This door bell was easy to install if you are able. The volume control was good, but the amount of tunes to get thru to get to a simple dig dong. The female plug in on the front of the unit does work. Push hard.

I have a blink doorbell with camera but if I didn't have my phone near me which is how I get notified, I was unable to know that someone was at my door. I bought this doorbell and attached to my blink doorbell and now I am able to hear if someone is at my door when I am far from the phone. I recommend it.Maggie

Only button mount is double sidded tape. Malcious person could rip it off easily. Two screws are incloded, but no matching holes in the button case.
