My favorite GF cake mix
This is the best cake mix I have had in the 15 years I’ve been gluten free. Hands down. It’s super moist, flavorful, and bakes up fluffy. Give it a try!

Delicious!
Best tasting natural yellow cake mix, and I've tried a bunch. So many natural yellow cake mixes taste like corn muffins. This is delicious yellow cake, just like Mom used to make.

Best yellow cake ever omg
I first saw this at the grocery store, and it caught my eye. I've known about Bob's steel cut oats, and their various other products for years. But I didn't know they made cake mix.If you like yellow cake, you will love this. If you're used to Betty Crocker and other big brand cake mixes, you will LOVE this. It is so much better. If you have your own yellow cake recipe, passed down from generations... that's nice. Frame it. But this is your yellow cake now. They also make a chocolate/brownie one and it is also amazing.

Nice Cake Mix
Honestly I didn’t notice much difference in texture or taste between this mix and the typical Duncan Heintz or Pillsbury store mix, but I think the ingredients listed were ‘cleaner’.

Great cake with clean ingredients....will buy again!!
I've always used store-bought cake mix, but have decided to "clean up" my diet. So when my son wanted a cake for his birthday, I decided to see if I could find one without all the garbage. (I've also gone keto because of pre diabetes, so I didn't have flour and sugar on hand. I didn't want to go buy a bunch of ingredients I wasn't going to use again for a long time, and have them sitting in my pantry to attract bugs and take up space).Yes, this ain't cheap, but it's not loaded with seed oil/franken foods, so I decided to give it a try. Besides....he wanted lime-flavored cake for some reason....and "Betty Hines" don't make that. I switched out the water for milk, melted down a stick of butter instead of using oil, and added 1 tsp of Boyajian lime oil. The fact that I didn't need to haul out my old Kitchen Aid mixer was a plus, too. It's not as sweet as "Duncan Crocker", which we were fine with. The cake texture was wonderful, like a homemade from scratch cake. I topped it off with a cream cheese frosting, and my family gobbled it up!I'm not planning on making a lot of cakes in the future, but when I have to for family....this is my new choice! I'll have a great cake with not a lot of work, and I won't have to worry if the ingredients are fresh. Thanks to the fine people at Bob's for making a great product!!

It's February 2026. The cake mix expired in September 2025.
Avoid expired foods, especially if you plan to store them for awhile.
