Good but no memory card or motion sensor
Okay to have a quick look but no memory card to save or any sensor, they could do so much more

Effective
Installed this because the original peephole was too high. Press of a button and you get a great colour picture within one second which is easy to see from various angles. I even press it before opening the door.

I can see very easily who is at my door.
This dies exactly what I wanted to be able ro see who was outside my front door. I couldn't see through the peep hole very clearly especially as I am short and had to stand on tip toe. I can see perfectly clearly wirh this digital door viewer.

Basic by today's standards ...
Okay, I've had this for almost four years (from 2020) and I recall it cost approximately £63, but is arguably basic by today's standards. Anyhow, it could be temperamental at times and has now given up the ghost (in 2024). I will not be looking to replace it like for like. A cursory glance tells me I can find one much better for almost half the price and so much better for not much more money (plausible smartphone app included). £15 a year for the Yale seems somewhat steep given a standard eyeglass is only about £10 and will last indefinitely.

Interior door surface must be flat.
Working well, packing very very difficult to open.Fitting fairly straight forward take your time. DON'T DAMAGE THE CABLE it's very fragile, particularly when plugging it to the viewer. keep the marked lens the right way up (marked).

Through the square window
Could be a bit brighter/clearer. Things look a bit distanced but it is what it is and does the job.
