This fan is quite noisy when on full speed but is excellent for keeping cool best fan I have bought. I also have a Dyson which is not nearly as powerful and cost a lot more.

Yes it tilts but only up. Best fan I've ever owned. Much more powerful than any stand fan.

Not really used it for that but it is powerful so it should keep you very cool while you spin or train

I don't know and I haven't looked into it. It's a big gym fan and makes a rushing noise, the higher the setting the louder the noise, but it's not so loud that it could damage the hearing. However, I'm just speculating, but I'm happy with mine.
