High quality tinting film.
I've used many different tinting films over the years and this is the best one yet. A lot of the films out there are cheap and that's appealing! I get that. Why spend £30 on tinting film if you can get it for far less?Well, the reason is simply... You get what you pay for. I've used cheap tint before and had I known the more expensive stuff would be so far above and beyond - I'd have bought the premium stuff long ago.Cheap tint is thin, difficult to work with, easily creased and doesn't shrink very effectively. Then (if) you get it laying down properly it's highly likely to peel under the heat of the sun because of a lack adhesive. You've all seen those cars going around with bad tint.HOWEVER! on to the BLACKGLASS TINTING FILM.This stuff is high quality tinting film. The most premium I've tried. You won't regret paying a bit more for this, it's far easier to work with and to achieve the look you want. It cuts very well (use a sharp blade! The film is quite thick compared to cheaper stuff. I replaced my blade halfway through the job to ensure I was always cutting efficiently). It lays down very well and the backing is easily peeled. Make sure and clean your windows well (and I mean, really, very well. Especially around seams, to get rid of all the dirt.) Any micro particles can show under the film for an undesirable look. Use lots of soapy water for laying the film once you take the backing off. Spray the exposed adhesive side and the window before laying it down. Remember - you cannot use too much soapy water, keep it wet until you're ready to commit to laying it down and squeegee the film. It's going to be a bit messy. Don't worry about the mess of soapy water. Cleaning up after isn't so bad. There is enough film to tint the rear windscreen and rear passenger window panels (vauxhall insignia) and that's with me redoing the rear windscreen (rear windscreen is massive so did it in two halves vertically, decided to change and do it in two halves horizontally instead as I hid the splice under a defrosting line, worked well) and one back window (forgot to shrink). So you have some excess to cover your mistakes. But not much - so take care. The film shrinks really well with a heat gun. I found that I had to heat shrink the film on all window panels as they all have curve to them. But your experience may differ depending on car make and model.I went for the 5% limo tint for maximum effect as we have a 7 month old. The sun was shining in and causing him discomfort on longer drives, even with sun visor fitted to the window. Tinting the windows was definitely a good decision, not only does it drastically reduce sun glare (5% limo does anyway), it also blocks majority of harmful UV rays and reduces the overall heat in the vehicle. Good for summer.Overall I am completely happy with this product and would happily buy again from BLACKGLASS. The result I was able to achieve was worth spending double of what I normally would on tinting film. Check photos for an example of my results. Perfect all round.

Not dark
I bought this for my toddlers bedroom as she is autistic and struggling with the light nights.Although the film itself was fairly easy to put on...It wasnt as dark as i needed it.I bought the 5% which is the darkest... and shows darker on the images on amazon.I dont feel like this is 5%..I didnt want a complete blackout but wanted something darker than this.Im really dissapointed with the darkness of this and wasted nearly 30.00.The 5% was the darkest.. showing really black on the images. This is no where near.(I do realise its for vehicles however windows are windows)

Good quality paper
It is a good quality film which sticks nicely if you apply it properly with required tools. I wish this supplier also did shorter lengths of film to cover the front windows with lighter paper. Now I am needing to look for other suppliers to get shorter length and lighter tint. Overall, good packaging, fast delivery and good quality paper.

Great!
Re-Edited: Ordered the 5% for a lexan window in my van, great product, easy to apply. I have ordered the 75% for the front.I have installed the 5% at the back without any issue, but the 75% unfortunately its very hard as a film and doesn't shrink with the hot gun bit it's becoming more rigid and doesn't stick at all. After 3 weeks unfortunately started to come off in the corners and won't stick again. Used on car glasses and lexan sheet from both is coming out now

Very good quality film - Pro grade (in my amateur opinion)
This will be the 6th car that I have tinted as an amateur DIY’er.In the past I have usually purchased tint films costing half the price of this product, and the quality comparison between products is clear to see.The cheaper films are mostly single ply, making them much thinner, more fragile and trickier to handle. I found that creasing was more of a problem with the cheaper films. The Blackglass film has 2 ply, making it thicker and more workable. I had no problem whatsoever heat shrinking this using the low setting on my hot air gun.Cutting and shaping were also very easy to manage.Good adhesion qualities to the glass too.I’d buy this brand again!

Nice tint to work with, shrank well
This tint went on quite well and it was easy to shrink on the curved glass sections. The 65cm was tall enough for a van rear window and the 6 metres was just long enough for a Transporter Multivan with 5 rear windows, with a little left over, maybe enough to do one more window.

Decent stuff
Firstly, Im no professional window tinter. Im competent and do a good enough job to do my own cars but I’d never charge for the quality of work I do. I gotta say for the price its quite pleasant to work with. Easy to cut and squeegee, doesn't crease easily and stays where you put it, doesnt peel as easily like cheaper stuff
