Great Masking Film
Huge time saver and good quality. The people complaining about it sticking to itself must be unfamiliar with the concept of tape. It’s sticky. That’s kinda the whole point. Don’t let it touch things you don’t want it to stick to and you’ll be all set. Also for the people who are having a hard time figuring out how to cut it...scissors work well

Great value for masking off rooms!
I run a professional painting business and we're always looking for the fastest quality route to mask off so we can get to work. 3M masking film is expensive to mask entire walls and bulk plastic by the roll takes longer to fiddle with. This product seems to hit the sweet spot for masking entire walls for removing popcorn ceilings or for draping off a room for overspray. I tried out the 12 pack of the 12' rolls and overall am pleased with the result. Protip...cut with scissors instead of razor blade. Much easier.PROS:The film appears to be treated so no paint flakes during cleanup. The tape sticks well enough for a days work.Unfolds easilyVALUECONS:These DO NOT fit any handmasker you can find in stores though it's not difficult to wrap a room by hand without cutting multiple times as the tape will hold the roll up while you move the ladder. The fold is the opposite from 3m film where the edge to pull down is right next to the tape. Takes some getting used to.Would buy again for popcorn removal.

Best masking film!
I tried the competitor’s product. It was horrible. The tape ripped repeatedly during application and just turned my project into a nightmare of torn tape and mangled film. So, I looked for another solution. I used a sprayer to paint my walls so I had to mask everything in stages. A little research online and decided to try this. It is perfect. Used the short film for my baseboards, the medium length to mask the ceiling, and the long film for my doorways. I would recommend that you use the blue painting tape to define the edges then affix the Plazmask to the blue tape. The reason to use both the blue tape and plazmask together is to make application of the Plazmask easier. Since you dont have to be careful with the plazmask, you can unroll and simultaneously immediately affix the tape. The tape never tore, never tangled in the film and made my project so much easier. This eliminates all chance of mistakenly affixing the tape to the film. The static cling was especially helpful to mask the ceiling since i just affixed one edge to the ceiling then pulled the film out and it immediately clung to the ceiling. I did add a couple of pieces of blue tape to the outside edge for security and Im glad I did. When I sprayed near the ceiling, the weight of the paint did make the film a tad heavier. When I masked the baseboards, it was easy to define my edge with just the Plazmask (no blue tape). Try this and play with the technique a bit for the type of application you're using to see what works best for your project.

Durable and inexpensive.
I love this stuff. I went to Lowe’s to see what they had in store so I could tape off a vehicle that I’m working on. Pretty much for the same amount of plastic it was over a hundred bucks and nowhere near as good. It’s good stuff but definitely have another roll of tape handy to help keep it tight. I ended up buying a couple more rolls to have around. One roll will mostly cover a 66 impala..just to give an idea of amount needed.

Will never buy blue tape again
This stuff works SO much better than any crap blue tape you'll try. We painted our entire new construction house and anywhere we didnt have this, we instantly regretted it. Not sure how but it holds ten times better than the blue tape and leaves a perfect, crisp line. We ended up buying like 10 rolls so we could have it for any room we sprayed.

Using this to keep air out of my windows for fall/winter....We'll see.
UPDATE: I think this actually worked pretty decent. I could see it keeping air out. Only thing... it does make a little noise when air tries to blow in.... but like I said... it does keep air out fairly decently.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I got this as a cheap alternative to keep air out of my windows from coming in for fall and winter. My apartment windows are a weird size so I went with this instead of the typical window plastic, that all was measuring too small for these windows I have.I honestly don't think it's going to work very well. Its very thin plastic here and a tad tough to work with alone when putting around the window seals. I can see that it is keeping some air out, but once we get very windy days, I'm not so sure how well it will hold up to bigger winds. We'll see. I'm rating it a 4 overall for now as I know I'm not using it as its supposed to be used really.

Is protecting our cabinets what a great find!
Oh boy am I glad I came across this plastic on Amazon! We are remodeling our kitchens ourselves and geez I have to admit, I make a terrible mess when I paint and so does my husband. Our lower cabinets are in but my husband had to fix some damage on the walls and plaster a few holes in the ceilings and this plastic sheeting is saving the cabinets from getting ruined. We put down a brown paper on top of the base cabinets and then we attached this sheeting to the edge so the front of the cabinets are fully protected. It was simple and quick. The tape on the plastic sheeting adhered to the brown paper without any problems and unrolling the plastic and cutting it to size was a breeze. We unfolded the plastic downward and I am very happy our lower cabinets are now protected from the work that's being done around them. The plastic sheeting has been up for a week and hasn't detached where it's taped and it hasn't ripped either as we keep lifting it to insert drawers in the cabinets. Very economical and helpful item. We will be using this for the rest of our remodeling. This was a great find and well worth the purchase.

Not worth the trouble
Difficult to use. I was hoping to use this to tape off my kitchen while painting but it's not prescored which I assumed it would be - you have to pull off a piece and somehow figure out how to cut it without the tape getting stuck on any of the plastic (because the second it does its ruined). I ended up just throwing it in a donation box, not worth the trouble. Gave it 2 stars because I'm assuming someone with patience could make it work.

Easy to use, seals perfectly and easy to remove
I used the tape whilst I needed to spray 4 separate ceilings and protect from overspray. This product did a great job. It also was great at closing off areas while I sprayed. I covered walls, floors , over doors, everything. The slightly static sheets naturally sealed against walls and doors. Great product that I will recommend. It is a one use product however but wrapping it up for disposal takes very little room.
