Some assembly tips
This stand works well, but I wouldn't count on it holding items that weigh more than, say, 300 pounds -- or less, if the base will be wider than 24 inches in any direction. Here are some assembly tips I learned through trial and error. They might be obvious to the mechanically inclined, but I don't include myself in that esteemed company.1. Ideally you should use your own tools, NOT the included "wrenches." You'll need a socket wrench with 10mm and 13mm sockets, a 10mm wrench and a 13 mm wrench -- preferably box-end wrenches.2. Arrange the four corner pieces in a rectangle so each set of 4 holes for the swivel wheels are aligned the same way. I don't know if this is important, but symmetry can't hurt.3. Gather the 16 small bolts and matching nuts. The washers should stay close to the head of the bolt; you don't want to reposition them against the nuts.4. Decide which swivel wheel you'll attach to each corner. It seems best to keep the two lockable wheels on one side, rather than in opposite corners.5. You are going to bolt the the swivel wheels to the corner pieces BEFORE you connect the corners to the long metal pieces. This will save a lot of aggravation. Hold each nut inside the corner piece; place the bolt through the swivel base and corner piece, and loosely thread the bolt into the nut. Don't tighten the nuts until you have all four bolts threaded into their nuts. This is the hardest part of the job, as it can take a lot of maneuvering to keep all four of the very short bolts aligned.6. Once you've connected a swivel to its corner piece, with all four bolts threaded loosely through their nuts, use the 10mm socket wrench to tighten each bolt head, while holding its nut with the wrench. Don't over-tighten, or you might bend a washer. You only need to tighten enough that the lock washer is flattened. Repeat this for each corner and its swivel.7. Now that you've joined each corner to its swivel, connect them with the long metal pieces, using the 8 larger nuts and bolts. The bolts are inserted from the outside, with the nuts towards the inside. This is much easier than the previous two steps.8. Slide the corners and the long connectors to fit the item you will place into the stand. Measure carefully, then tighten all eight large bolts, using the 13mm socket and wrench. You now might want to install the four orange corner stickers; I think this is optional.Good luck!

Not very strong, bent like a noodle for my washer/dryer
It says that it holds up to 1200lbs, but I suppose that's under the most ideal conditions and probably when the frame is adjusted to it's smallest size. The bigger an object, the heavier it would likely be but this dolly is weakest at it's max size. I put my small condo's washer dryer which probably weighs anywhere from 200-400lbs (not sure). The rack got destroyed while loading it. The cheap soft metal frame bent and a wheel folded underneath it. I would have returned it and been happier but I didn't have time so I built a frame out of 2x4 wood and bought long carriage bolts and moved the wheels from the metal frame to my wood frame and had not issue. Unfortunately I spent $65 for this dolly just to use the wheels which I could have bough for $20. Plus it takes a long time to put this together and then take this apart with the wrenches provided. The whole reason I spent more money for this one was because it said it holds 1200 which made me think it was one of the strongest ones available.

does the job!
This holds my stand up freezer. It allows me to freely move the freezer around and clean behind if necessary. I bought another for the pool fridge... The bolts are a little short but work and the ease of assembly will be easier for a someone with smaller hands; have your wife or kid help : ) As for the provided tools, they are "throw away" tools and meant for convenience vs quality, but do the job. Glad I bought it!!!

This dolly is a nightmare to assemble.,
It is a nightmare to try to attach the wheels to this dolly. The bolts are too short and access to the narrow area between the triangular frame braces is very difficult. I finally managed to attach all of the bolts but one by inserting them between the triangular frame braces and attaching the nuts on the underside of the unit. One simply wouldn't protrude far enough to thread the nut. I had to use my own hardware for that connection. The 'assembly instructions' are also almost nonexistent. Top call them 'minimal' would be too kind. This unit may do what it says it can do - hold up to 1200 pounds - but I wouldn't suggest testing its capacity in that regard. I only put a 120 pound refrigerator on it and for that load it seems to work fine, once you finally get it assembled. All in all, I suggest avoiding this product unless you can find no other that will serve your purpose. It is the most difficult thing to assemble I have ever encountered, and I have assembled more than a few things in my time.
