After spending a ridiculous amount of time researching floor mounted fans for my office in the attic, I chose this one. Opinions are always very subjective and people are prone to leave poor reviews over good ones, so I deliberated long and hard having read mixed reviews of many contending products.You're probably most interested in the amount of noise this little fella emits, which is where your fear of buying the wrong (noisiest) is focused? One persons too loud, too salty, too sweet, too anything is not helpful, so I'll sum up my review by saying it's fine. Don't worry, this fan is powerful yet sufficiently quiet. If you need to use the highest setting, you'd be prepared to sacrifice degrees of silence to achieve the sufficient quantity of moving air anyway! Being in the attic, my office can get overly warm in the summer, and this fan moves air around very efficiently.I like the quality, value for money (£30 June 2020), modest size, modern finish, performance and noise level of this product, so save yourself time looking much further and give this guy a go!I hope you have found this review helpful, thanks for reading.Update: July 2020 - it seems this item has been reduced in price (to £26) and now only has two speeds instead of the three on the item I purchased. You may wish to consider this as the fan's flexibility has been significantly reduced with the absence of a third speed. Still a great fan and now even better value!

Great little fan, this fan is only small but it’s VERY powerful we had it on in our bedroom next to the open window near our bed and the cool air that it blew over us was delightful the other night when the temperature was in the 20’s. It has 4 different speeds and is fairly quiet even on top speed especially if you stand it on something soft like a towel it stops the vibration and definitely doesn’t disturb sleep, it works brilliantly so l would definitely recommend it to anyone.

If you want a desk fan then this is the one it's compact and gives of a good air flow nice cooling breeze would buy again

They say you get what you pay for and all I can say is wow. This fan is fantastic. Really powerful and actually blows cold air. 5 setting’s and even setting 1 is powerful enough. This has to be better than most stand up fans and that’s no joke. Highly recommend because all I can say is wow wow wow what a fantastic fan

Why did you choose this product over others?:4 years on and this fan is still very good.....a good strength and not too noisy plus it's really portable so goes in his rucksack when visiting mates as he runs very hot all year. Highly recommend

VOXON TurboForce Air Circulator Table Fan Wall Mounted FansI was very pleased when this arrived, the fan is much nicer than I had expected. The fan is made from a fairly heavy tough looking matt black plastic, the circular rim around the fan itself is metallic gunmetal in colour which gives the fan a classy look. The fan is quite heavy for it's size and looks to be quite sturdy too. It comes supplied with two cables, one with a UK three pin plug, the other has a two pin Euro type plug. The cable plugs neatly into the back of the fan where it is tidy and out of the way. On top there is a circular knob which has a knurled edge to it which makes the knob easy to grip whilst turning to the various settings. This is also economical to use as it's claimed it uses only 23 watts on the highest setting and 12 watts on the lowest setting.In use I found the fan to be fairly quiet on the lowest setting which is just the job as I have it setup in my music room so no excess noise to interfere with recording. There are three speed settings via the circular knob on top, the lowest speed is a gentle breeze which is more than enough for me, the highest setting moves a fair bit of air but not so much that it is uncomfortable to sit in front of. The fan swivels up and down but there is no sideways adjustment. I have this standing on my desk where it gently cools the room, you can also hang it on a wall by the two supplied screws if you wish. The fan is heavy enough to keep it in place without fear of it sliding off my desk if knocked. The room I use this in is fairly small, this cools that room nicely. I'm not so sure of it's suitability for a large room as the blades of the fan are quite small. I believe the fan is designed to be placed on a desk close by to keep you cool but may struggle to keep a large room cool.As I mentioned above I am very pleased with this. The fan is fairly quiet in operation on the low setting which I find more than adequate for my needs and using just 12 watts on that setting means I can leave it running without fear of it costing me a fortune in electric. It also appears to be well built so I would expect it to last a long time - Highly recommended!I did purchase a second one of these but had to return it because it was quite noisy when compared to the first. It’s a nice size and offers a sufficient breeze. For the money next time I would look to buy a bigger more powerful fan but serves the purpose needed. Easy to plug into a usb plug. This isn’t provided so make sure you have ordered one or have one available. Effective airflow.
