Doesn't do what it says on the tin (not even remotely silent!)
My wife had the same hair dryer for years. I didn't really notice it, until broke and (being a helpful husband... It's a bit like a power tool!) I replaced it with something cheap and high powered. Sadly, it was so loud and high pitched, I bought her another in less than a week. Throwing money at the problem this time, I got the above from a different supplier. For £100 +, my expectations were quite high of not being bothered by a noisy hair dryer ever again. But alas, this one is just as loud as the one before it, although less high pitched. It's a lot louder than the old trustee one that died too. If you're looking for a quiet hair dryer or value your wife and your own hearing, save your money and buy something else.
