Will work on Hydroflask, too.PURCHASED: September 2017UPDATED REVIEW: August 2020I purchased 4 Thermi Protective Sleeves in black, midnight blue, camo green and translucent gray (and 4 Oonla Protective Sleeves in Blue, Purple, Pink and Translucent Glow in Dark) for our 40 oz Takeya Water Bottles in September 2017. My family of eight (1 young child, 2 teens, 2 young adults, 2 adults and 1 senior...1 teen, 1 young adult and myself are female.) We are an active family who lives in Arizona and travel frequently. We use our water bottles w/silicone sleeves year round...never leave home without them...never go outdoors without them. We have taken them on road trips to California, Nevada, Colorado and throughout Arizona. We have taken them on trips to Hawaii, New York/New England, D.C., Florida, Louisiana and Texas (different climates hot, humid and cold.) We take them to the beach, lake, hiking, events, amusement parks, sightseeing, movies, shopping and school/church. A couple of them have been dropped, kicked, stepped on and tossed around. They have been washed on and off the bottles many many times. We do not have any issues with the sleeves stretching/expanding and sliding off...no tears or cuts in the seams. They are still in excellent condition!I felt the need for a rebuttal to a couple of other reviews I recently read when shopping for two more sleeves for two bottles I purchased for another daughter and her husband.They can be difficult to put on and take off...try doing so while rinsing/washing the bottle...it makes it easier! They have protected our bottles and held together for the last three years.pic: 4 of our 8 bottles today (other bottles being used at time of pic!)

I saw this cover on a customer who left their 40 oz Hydroflask bottle at my work. Thought it would be great for myself and especially for my son's bottle since he uses it at school and drops his often. Teachers hate the clanging sound of the metal water bottles so thought this would be great to prevent any noise in the classroom and to prevent any more dents. Our particular cover is being used on a 40 oz Takeya active insulated bottle. It fits perfectly.You need to really follow the directions it comes with in order to properly put on the sleeve onto the bottle. It is a tight fit and It's a mini workout putting it on, but it does what it's supposed to do. Taking it off to clean takes effort too but in the end it's worth the money to protect the bottles from dents and scratches.Glad I saw this and was able to find one for my brand of bottle. Please do read the description on what sleeve you select and what size and brand it fits for your particular bottle because not all sleeves are compatible with all brands.

I purchased the black 40oz version of this. I have had it for about 3 months so far, and love it.It provides good grip, even when dusty, and stays in place well.I have dropped my bottle only one or twice since adding this, and only on the floor inside, but it shows no marks or damage yet.It went on quite easily. I have taken it off and put it back on once, and it came off quite easily as well, if you roll it off instead of trying to slide it down.It has a hole in the bottom so if you wash the exterior of the bottle any water trapped under the cover should drain out eventually.I don't know how it would fare in the dishwasher, but you can ruin the kind of bottles this is designed for by putting them through a dishwasher, so I personally would never try it.I have not tried other similar products so couldn't give any comparisons

Works great to protect my 32oz Takeya bottle! INSTALLATION HACK: Just wet the inside of the silicone sleeve with a damp towel or wipe. It was so much easier to slide onto the bottle rather than to follow the included instructions and try to turn the sleeve inside out. Don’t turn it inside out, not worth the struggle! Or you can dampen the outside of the bottle. Otherwise, I think this sleeve will protect my bottle well and it seems pretty good quality!

i got this for my ONEISALL large glass water bottle ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DK56HWV/ ), since it only came with a nylon sleeve which doesn't do anything except to carry the bottle around more easily. i, like many others, wanted a silicon sleeve as it gives it a little bit more protection from nicks, scratches and a little fall. obviously, this will not protect from a deep fall. so i measured circumference and height then looked for a silicon sleeve. the sleeve for the hydro flask, looks more popular, came close, about .06 mm bigger. i took the chance and bought this one because it looks like it covers more, the competitors had lots more or bigger holes than i wanted. the rating also helped a little. the sleeve for the 32 oz hydro flask, i think, would have been too low at around 7.5 inches. the one for the 40 oz hydro flask at 9 inches was just right, in my opinion. it's not snug but its fine as it would have been a pain to put on, it doesn't seem to slide off easily, however. there is that little bubble at the top but it doesn't bother me. enjoy!!!

I bought this sleeve to put on my 40 Oz Takeya water bottle also bought here on Amazon to help with grip and insulation.I purchased the marbled (glows green at night) 40 Oz sleeve and it fit my bottle PERFECTLY! Adds grip, and looks pretty cool at night on my nightstand tooThe sleeve covers almost all of the bottle too. Not just the bottom. Perfect fit in my opinion. It was a bit of a challenge to put on the bottle but like the suggestions I read. I rolled the sleeve down like a wetsuit almost inside out and wedged the bottom in first and then just rolled it up onto the bottle an inch at a time.I highly recommend this sleeve. I love the way it complemented my water bottle purchase in looks and in usability.
