It automatically turns on at dusk, which is really convenient because I don’t have to remember to switch it on or off. Got this to get rid of bugs and i feel it works well. I've used the solar panels 100% of ti n e to recharge it and battery life easily last all night.very easy to assemble and size is perfect to sit about anywhere. I have the feet stuck between boards in my deck . When it's on at night it's zapping away plenty of bugs so little noise is to be expected. I bought 2 of them very happy how they work. I think you'd be also. They supply a brush to clean out bugs but I use a garden hose with nozzle, cleans it in seconds means it's waterproof/ resistant

This unit charges easily and lasts all night. Easy to clean off, we have it set up where the panel is fixed to the top of the unit. It comes with hanging hardware. It works on our patio, which is a 15'x30' deck, and it zaps bugs with no issue.

Easy to put together and after in the sun for several hours, it worked like a champ! I sat outside after dark, and I could hear the zapping sound of smaller bugs. Going to have to wait until bigger insects arrive to really test this out.

It’s super easy to use, just plug it in and let it do all the working. The blue light attracts the bugs like moths to a flame (literally), and the zap is weirdly satisfying. I also appreciate that it's pretty quiet and not obnoxiously bright at night with a fair price.If you're tired of doing the mosquito slap dance every evening, this zapper is totally worth it. Highly recommend for anyone needing a little more peace (and alot less bites) in their life!

I will say i dislike the hanging bug zappers, these are very low to the ground and being solar is great, bugs love the light, it’s very powerful and on the auto setting it lasts all night long. VeryEasy to clean, we use our small blower ! Couldn’t be happier 2 of them on our acre !

Broke two weeks after I bought and they won’t send me a new one (don’t buy) does not kill bugs it only has blue lights doesn’t charge with sun have to plug in to outlet and metal bug zapping thing has no power going to it. used test light no power to bug zapper

Definitely works well. I truly can not say it keeps bugs away for tge radius it promotes, but it has helped with area around our pool and deck.
