Great little camera
I bought the myq garage door with camera first. I loved it so much I decided to try the outdoor camera. I love them both! I have a ring camera in front of my house and the my q blows away the ring camera I actually just canceled my ring camera subscription. These cameras come with a plenty long enough cord to run to a power supply. No messing with batteries. All of you complaining about buying a plan stop crying. Show me an alarm company that doesn't charge a monthly fee.I actually just bought 2 more outdoor cameras!$80 for a year subscription for ALL of them!

Received but broken!
I received it today but some of the cameras are already broken and the box was opened already! Even though I try to connect the camera is not working properly and it is not connecting to the network! So I had to return the product! But why l am getting refund for only one item!

Great camera but does not integrate with Alexa
This is a great camera with good image quality both day and night. I bought the indoor camera for my garage, liked it a lot so I bought 3 outdoor cameras to replace my Arlo cameras.Setup was relatively painless. The camera was discovered by the app right away, connected to wi-fi and updated easily. The camera is installed with relative ease if your goal is to mount on a wall and just plug it in. There is about 15-20ft of wire with weatherproof fittings on both ends. If you are desiring a more refined installation with shorter or hidden wiring, you will need to drill, cut wire and solder in a new usb-a plug to your custom length of wire. It would be nice if Chamberlain designed a professional install kit to facilitate neater installation.Note: you will need the $99/yr 30-day all device storage subscription to be able to record your video. Not a bad deal if you are doing a multiple device installation. I have 5 video devices setup so it’s totally worth the price. My sole issue with the MyQ product line is that it does not integrate with Alexa. This make absolutely no sense to me since MyQ supports Amazon Key delivery. I would buy the new MyQ doorbell but not if it does not integrate with Alexa.

The definition of insanity!
I built an automotive shop in 2020 with three bay doors, each door has a Liftmaster opener that uses MyQ app and has worked flawlessly for the past four years. Black Friday 2024 rolls around and I buy Three MyQ Garage cameras for a decent price for added security when I’m away. I follow the steps to connect the cameras to the app, cameras pair to everything just fine during the process until I go to name the cameras and enter their location. (Why it needs a location entered is beyond me) and this message on all three cameras pops up; “ we apologize looks like we cannot update the name and location of your camera at this time, but it is in your device list. Please try to update name and location at a later time.” Light on cameras are solid green indicating a successful installation, however the cameras are no where to be found on my device list, so I reset the cameras and try again only to receive the same results. So after many attempts to reach someone from Chamberlain through an AI, I finally get a hold of a human that has me repeat all those processes over and over again (2hrs on the phone) just to get the same results. They even had my delete the app and reinstall it, reset my router, and they even told my I may need a laptop or an iPad to install it properly. All I have is an iPhone. When I try to scan the QR code on the actual camera in the MyQ app, I’m prompted with “we don’t recognize this QR code” At the end of this tech support call, nothing was fixed, tech support tells me they will escalate the issue to a supervisor and I should receive an email within 24-48 business hours, not days! What does that even mean? A full week? It’s been two days and have yet to receive an email with a solution. It just would have been nice to have one app I can connect my entire shop to was my thinking behind buying these cameras. I don’t think the cameras themselves are faulty. I just think the app is not working properly. And then reading other reviews on here it says that you need a five dollar monthly subscription for them to work? I had no idea about that. I can’t even get them to start working to begin with! You would think with everybody that’s paying five dollar monthly subscription that their tech-support and their app would work better! Thanks for nothing Chamberlain!

Be ware of the missing pieces in the bought and returned products.
One problem with buying the used product is that the product will sometimes come with the pieces missing. For this product of MyQ security camera, the installation base was missing along with the paper owner's manual. I have to buy another installation base separately. But instead of returning the product, I decide to keep it because the price is really cheap. The camera quality is pretty good, but in order to store the video I will have to subscribe to the cloud storage service from MyQ. This is what I get for trying to get the all MyQ brand of garage gadgets. On the plus side, I guess I do not have to worry about the software update, MyQ updates the gadgets' softwares regularly.
