Good thermal printer
In short: this is a great little thermal printer that does a good job at printing photos for journaling. The paper is inexpensive but a little hard to lay your hands on right now and I'm not sure this is a good long-term purchase as a result.In long: I've had a number of portable thermal printers and this one is particularly good at producing clear photo prints. The built-in camera is not great but I didn't expect much from it, and when used with the printer it does produce adequate images with a nostalgic filter applied that makes them print nicely.The paper options are pretty restrictive; I've been told it can handle other label brands but I haven't tried. As it stands I'm only able to obtain glossy white labels at a substantial markup, and it makes me worry these printers may already be on their way out.I really cannot emphasize how nice the photo prints are from this as opposed to other thermal printer brands I've owned. There's very little of that streaking that thermal prints can get, there isn't visible pixelization and the overall image clarity in highlight and shadow is really nice. This won't be replacing an actual photo printer for anyone, but as a way to print fun pictures from my phone I'm really impressed.

Although the product itself looks high-end, the image quality is very poor. The picture quality is very poor. At this price point, the picture quality should be better than a child's toy. Unfortunately, its picture quality is the same as that of a child's $18 toy.

Could be better
I wanted to love this! The picture quality is not great, reminds me of the picture posting out from a kids arcade. It is fun though, especially because the pictures are stickers
