i like to dry garlic and its so fiddly to peel and thinly slice lots of cloves. Although this doesn't peel, I bought a zak colourway garlic peeler for that, it slices perfectly. Lovely and thin, and very easy. Pop garlic in and turn. I've tried it with parmesan cheese too, and that work just as well..i highly recommend this product. Simple to clean too.

Takes the effort out of slicing garlic cloves and is very easy to use and clean afterwards. My only negative comment is that it is only designed for standard size garlic cloves. I buy the large size bulbs from the supermarket and once peeled, the cloves will not fit in the slicing compartment unless I cut them in half first. Not a major issue but worth remembering if you do not use the standard size garlic cloves. Overall it’s a handy little tool and I would recommend it to others.

Over the years I have tried all sorts of garlic presses and, although I finally found a very decent one, cleaning them after use remains a pain. I then decided slicing was the way forward, paper thin slicing. Having tried various bit of kit I came a costs this little gem. Pricier than I would have liked but definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Perfect, wafer thin slices every time and cleaning is a doddle. I shall be throwing out all of my other 'garlic implements' and giving this unit pride of place.

Not a massive fan perhaps I’m just rubbish at using it. It clicks the garlic absolutely perfectly when it works but I find a lot of the time it takes me ages

This little slicer delivers nicely cut garlic to make very tasty dishes so now it has taken a top spot in my kitchen. Works very well, sharp blades do the job with ease. You can load up a few garlic buds at the same time as well saving you tons of time. It also means you don't have sticky garlic hands after cooking.

This slicer I found to be no good at all, the manual garlic pressed which I have gives better results .

I use this only for slicing galic when I want it sliced really thin. It never manages to do the last bit but other than that it's fine.

Really easy to use and clean afterwards. You just remove the garlic and ginger skins and put them in the bottom of the pot, above the slicing blades, then push down the inserted pusher and twist and out pops brillant thinly sliced garlic and ginger. I have chucked my other garlic squeezer’s as this does the job effortlessly. Highly recommend.
