Very cute good size I really recommended

I was excited for my son to receive this for Christmas. It stopped working, replaced batteries and they will start to go then stop. The excavator arm broke within 30 min of opening. Returning and ordering higher quality.

Grabbed this for my 3yo son, seemed like a solid option. The two-in-one setup with both the excavator and the dump truck offers tons of play variety. The lights and sounds are a great touch, and it’s cool that both trucks are fully functional with remote controls. Watching the excavator dig and the dump truck actually unload is surprisingly satisfying!A few quirks, though. While the trucks look sturdy enough with the ABS plastic, the motors on the excavator, in particular, could use a little more power. It sometimes struggles when trying to dig or rotate, especially on rougher surfaces like sand or gravel. And the battery life isn’t bad but could be better—after about 20 minutes of continuous use, we’re recharging.That said, the set definitely shines when it comes to imaginative play. The included traffic cones and road signs were a thoughtful bonus and add a nice layer of realism. My kid loves setting up “construction sites” around the house or yard, and the remote control feature is simple enough for them to use independently, which is great for developing hand-eye coordination.It's a solid toy for the price, and it's been providing hours of entertainment. Still giving it 5 stars because he loves it, so, if you’re looking for something fun and interactive that keeps kids entertained, this set is worth considering.

Pretty impressed with this RC construction set, especially the excavator. It mimics the movement of a real excavator so well. The dump truck is also fun, but moves way too quickly…thus relegating it to an outside only toy.Things I like:-great level of detail in the build of both trucks. Fun movement and noises.-the remotes are easy to use and work really well, both vehicles are very responsive-the motion of the excavator arm and bucket really mimic that of the real thing. My son uses this to dig outside and can actually move little buckets of sand across the yard. Releasing what is in the bucket with any degree of accuracy is hard though.-each wheel track of the excavator can be controlled independently, so again like the real thing-batteries are rechargeable (though you do need to use a screwdriver to remove them), and set comes with one extra battery-fairly durable. My 2.5 year old plays with these pretty roughly and they have lasted well. That being said, if you want these to last, I would say these are really best for age 5/6 and up, depending upon the child. There are lots of small pieces and parts that can be bent if you try to. We let our little guy use them, but with lots of supervision.To be improved:-the dump truck moves way too quickly. It basically races around. This makes it hard to control. The first day we got the set we had to make the rule that it could only be used outside, because everyone kept running it into the walls and furniture.-the dump truck can only dump using a manual button on the truck, not a button on the remote, which is a little disappointing-one button on the dump truck remote makes the truck go nuts, you basically lose control of it, it moves on its own and makes tons of noise. This is meant to be a “Demonstration” mode button, but is scary for a kid when they don’t expect it. You need to push another button to get it to turn off. Not my favorite feature.All in all, still a pretty great little set. Would make a fantastic gift for any construction lover. But best for outdoor play.

My three year old grandson loves these remote control toys. I like that it helps with hand-eye coordination as they have fun. The dump truck moves pretty quick so I like when they use it outside rather than inside. I use heavier objects for the excavated to pick up because the rocks that came with it are too light.I hope this review has been helpful.

This set of RC construction trucks is really pretty nice - my toddler is really very spoiled heh. We got the set with the excavator and the dump truck. The build quality and the size of the trucks is great. They look plenty realistic. I was impressed that it came with a bunch of accessories too, including toy rocks, cones, and signs.The excavator works really nicely - the steering mechanism and lowering and raising the bucket works as expected as well. I wish the fake rocks that came with the set were a bit heavier so that they could actually get picked up with the excavator. Instead, they just get pushed around and flung up since they are so light.The dump truck accelerates too much even with a gentle push on the controller - it would be nice if it didn't move so quickly.Overall, given the price and quality, I still give it 5 stars though there are a few caveats to note.

Unfortunately these are very small and after one day of using the excavator to dig in our driveway the tracks stopped working and now it's unable to be used. The dump truck seems a bit better quality and is actually very quick.

CHEAP PLASTIC---ALL 4 WHEELS DONT TURN TOGETHER--SOMETIMES THEY ALL TURN SOMETIMES ITS EITHER FRONT OR BACK---DUMP TRUCK HAS A VERY LOUD SIREN. DONT KNOW WHY THERE IS A SIREN ON A DUMP TRUCK--ON THE EXCAVATOR THE BUCKET IS VERY SPARADIC IN GOING UP AND DOWNI WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND
