Fast cube. Took a while to setup but light and fast.

The Weilong V10 is, as mentioned in the title, a "Moyu" take on Gan's flagship series 3x3 (think Gan 12 or 14 Maglev) without the magnet adjustment, and I mean that in a great way. The cube is relatively blocky but has fantastic corner-cutting and has almost no catches when solving on it. The cube is VERY fast OOTB, and I recommend setting it up with slower lubes. After setup however, as well as some adjusting of the maglev adjustment, it can become much more controllable than how it soroginally felt. The UV coating also really helps with the grip of such a quick puzzle. Unlike the V9, its magnets are much weaker, which I pesrsonally prefer, however some people may not like this if they had previously preferred the original V9.One drawback to this cube that I personally see are that it has a "cheap" plastic sound when turning unlike the previous V9 and even the Weilong 2021 Maglev, however this could be dampened by putting some lube into the cube and at certain contact points. Additionally, I think that the dual adjustment, specifically the center piece travel adjustment, is too tight at the loosest setting, as I still struggle to remove the edges for setup without thinking the cube may break. It also makes the cube feel to tight for some people that prefer looser cubes (me included), so if that is the case, this may not be the cube for you and I suggest cubes such as the previous V9 (20 magnet version especially), Tornado V3 (pioneer if you like fast cubes), and the Gan 12 Maglev (the cube that I feel like this cube is like the most). I would like to mention again that this cube is INCREDIBLY fast, and even after setup it still feels pretty quick, so if you are a fan of slower cubes but still want the V10, I suggest you get the spring version of thia cube, as it is a bit slower and thus more controllable.TLDR; The Weilong V10 is a fast cube that can be good WITH the right setup and feels like a Gan 12 but with a Moyu twist. The new dual adjustment system is good but may be too tight for some and the cube has relatively weak magnets compared to its predecessor.

So, my 9 yo got into cubing last year and I promised him if he could solve it in less than 20 seconds I would buy him any cube he wanted…He asked for a GAN 13. It was more expensive than I wanted but he was really happy.A few months later he taught me how to solve them too! So I asked that same 9 yo what was best cube in the $25-35 range or less and he told me this was it.He was not wrong! This cube is so fast and so smooth, definitely worth the price, and the truth is my kid usually steals it and uses it instead of his $50+ GAN 13!So maybe not the BEST cube ever, but better than most and as good as the more expensive ones in too!

MY ADVICE: Only buy the newest Rubix cube models. I initially purchased a popular 2020 Rubix model. When I opened its package, I found it was completely disassembled, Many crucial parts were missing. AMAZON SERVICE was understanding of my plight. MY RECOMMENDATION? Buy only new Rubix cube products, just out. It is the only way I see to minimize your chances of being scammed of these mass-market products. I ENJOY MY NEW 2024 MOYU Rubix Cube. You will too!

I bought this for my grandson who loves Rubik’s cube and he loved it!
