A Year in Photography: Magnum Archive Hardcover – Illustrated, 1 Sept. 2015

I bought this book as a birthday present for a friend who has had a camera for a year (a present for his previous birthday) to give him some inspiration. Every photograph in it is a gem with the title and details of the photograph/photographer printed at the bottom of the reverse of the page (the so called *blank* page some reviewers refer to??). It is a catalog of stunning photographs of many subject matters and something which *should* inspire anyone with an interest in photography from the amateur to professional. Buy it at the free delivery price you won't regret it.

Some amazing photos. Some very strange indeed. Some poor quality for a book on photgraphy.Would have liked a small explanation of each photo instead of just name and date

I have been eyeing up this book at Waterstones for a very long time and decided to buy it from Amazon because of the cheaper price. It is a great and very inspiring book. Especially if you're undertaking the 365 project.

Very appreciated by the photographer we bought it for who likes it very much. Good coverage and some excellent photographs that even the other professionals appreciate.

I am really into photography, and i enjoy flicking through this book to see other peoples photos on capturing a moment in their life.
