Great little shaver for travel – super compact and charges with USB-C
I picked this up for an overseas trip since I’m trying to pack lighter these days. I usually bring a full-size electric shaver, but it takes up too much space and needs its own charger. This Panasonic travel shaver was a great find. It’s definitely not quite as close or powerful as my main shaver, but for travel, it does the job really well. What makes it totally worth it is the USB-C charging—no extra cords to pack. I just use the same cable I bring for my phone and other stuff, which makes life easier. It’s super small and light. If you’re a one-bag traveler or just like to pack light, this is a solid choice.Pros:Really compact and lightEasy to cleanCharges with USB-C (huge bonus)Good shave for the sizeGreat for travel or quick touch-upsCons:Not as close as a full-size shaver (but expected)Overall, I’m glad I bought it. It made travel easier and still kept me looking decent. Would definitely recommend if you're trying to cut down on what you pack.

Nice close shave, good for travel.
this is a pretty nice little travel shaver. Small, replaces shave cream and brush, razor, and groomer/trimmer in my dopp bag during travel. On-off is a little bit of a learning curve but over all I am pretty happy with it. I bought this and the Phillips/Norelco 2 blade shaver as well and did a “shave off” for a week then did a “half & half - left side norelco, right side Panasonic and the Mrs did a blind “touch test” and consistently preferred the Panasonic side. Anyhow, I will use it for travel (regular Harry’s razor user at home). Thanks for reading!

A Decent Electric Razor
I'll be comparing this to my only other electric razor I've used for over two decades: two previous iterations of the Braun Series 3.I've been using this Panasonic Swipe Right razor for a little over two weeks, which is as long as the battery has lasted on my initial charge. This isn't bad given the size of the razor and that it's meant for travel. I use it for shaving only my neck daily. I use a 20-year-old Remington for trimming my beard, but it's too big to trim my mustache. For this reason, I have to keep my old Braun razor, since it does have a slide-out trimmer on it. It would be nice if this Panasonic had a small slide-out trimmer as well.I have noticed it has two motor engagements; it makes an audible change in the vibration when shifting to the closer shave (when I press the razor into my neck more firmly). The normal motor engagement probably gives a slightly worse shave than the Braun electric razors I've used, while the closer motor engagement is somewhat better than the Brauns. Like other electric razors I've used, it takes several passes to get all the visible hairs. Unlike my Brauns, this Panasonic is able to get a pretty smooth shave, where brushing my fingers along my neck line doesn't prickle stubble just below the surface of the skin. It's not quite the feeling of a traditional manual razor because it's hard to get the smooth shave evenly everywhere, but it's close. And unlike my Brauns, I do get some mild razor burn with this razor sometimes, despite oiling the foil with the included oil. It hasn't cut me, though, like some other reviewers have mentioned. As others have pointed out, the method of turning this razor on is stupid. The first thing I did was test turning it on with the cap on because when I read that was possible in another review I said "there's no way they'd be stupid enough to design this to turn on with the cap on." Well, they are. However, in practice, as long as I'm careful when I'm dropping it in my bag and don't hear any vibrating, it should be okay. It also turns on accidentally when I'm trying to clean it. Cleaning inside the foil is easy and simple, by the way: press the tabs on the side to pop the foil off and then rinse, let dry, and snap the foil back on.The power button would have been MUCH better as a solid state button (i.e. still not a physical button that allows water intrusion) that you press and hold for a second to turn on/off. I haven't accidentally turned it off while using it, but it's annoying I have to use two hands to turn it on and off, or turn it on while it's sitting on the shelf and then pick it up.The main reason I ordered this razor, and why I'll be keeping it, is because it's one of the few name-brand razors that has USB-C charging. I don't know why other manufacturers are so slow to get on board with this. I don't want to travel with a large, proprietary adapter with a non-detachable cord that takes up more space than this entire razor. So kudos to Panasonic for using some common sense there. The cover for the charging port doesn't always get out of the way of the USB-C cable as well as I would like, but I only have to worry about that a couple of times a month.I plan to use this Panasonic as my daily razor as well as for travel. I love the small size, which takes up little space in the bathroom or bag. Charging is relatively easy, I get a better shave than my old Brauns, and it looks very good with a nice, high-end build. Provided it lasts, it's worth every bit of 4 stars. It's clear there are still several ways Panasonic can improve upon this design in future models: fix the power button situation; include a small slide-out trimmer; and give the user an option to only use the closer shave motor at all times, even at the expense of battery life.

Powerful and Compact
I was looking for this once I saw a Japanese Youtuber using it. Looked on Amazon and it was pretty expensive for what I wanted to pay, over $100. During a trip to Japan I was looking for it to see if it was cheaper but couldn’t find it! Well as luck would have it, the razor was on sale on Amazon after 6 months. The razor is very powerful for its size and cleans very easily since it is waterproof. The charge lasts for over 2 weeks. It’s great for travel and I highly recommend it.

Nice little travel shaver
Oddly this one came with no charge at all. So I had to plug it and charge first.I thought it'd work while plugged in USB-C port, but nope, I had to charge it for certain level. So, if the battery is totally depleted, you will need at least 10-15 minutes charging it first before able to use. That was big disappointment. However, once charged, it looks like I can shave multiple times. It was easy to clean and brush off.One thing I hope they change it in the future is the switch like many mentioned. It's intuitive enough but not as responsive. I have tested it with case one, and it seems it's possible to be accidentally on like others mentioned.

Better than my full sized Series 9
I only ended up ordering this thing due to a packing mishap before a week and a half long trip. I expected it to be halfway decent. I did not expect it to run circles around my Braun Series 9. I’ve used Braun for years and now I have an electric shaver brand loyalty existential crisis.
