Schaum's Outline of Partial Differential Equations (Schaum's Outlines)

Great reference for all maths and physics students.

good value, quick service

I've learnt more about PDEs from the Schaums outline for "Differential Equations" than this disorganised mess! Unfortunately, I'm still struggling to find a good graphical guide to solving PDEs, so can't recommend anything just yet

I was fairly disappointed with this book. It seems to lack depth, and hardly touches on many of the topics that come up on your average undergraduate PDE course (although it might be of use to engineering students). You should get Strauss' classic 'PDE An Introduction' instead.
