Change of Address (Changement d'adresse) [DVD] (2006)

The plot of the film goes like this. A guy decides to flat share with an attractive woman. They both have some sort of love lives, and they confide in each other of their woes on who they are interested in. However, they both act like they are a couple, doing board games, going for a run in the park etc. etc. Eventually one leaves as they move in with their partner, only eventually for that to fall through. As one of them is about to leave their old flat, they bump into each other again, and they again offer to flat share. Except this time, as they do so, they see that they were actually into each other all that time.. that's where the film ends.It's a good film, not laugh out loud funny, but it's worth a watch, certainly it'll stay in my film collection, unlike other films recommended that turn out to be French turkeys!

If you enjoy films that are not mainstream-formulated-seen-it-before types of films, then you might enjoy this quirky comedy. To be honest, I won’t be in a rush to watch it again too soon but if you’re in the mood for a bit of enjoyable lightweight sillyness then you might want to give this one a try.(3.5 out of 5 stars)

This is one of the funniest films I have seen in yearsFrederique Bel is absolutely fabulous, as usual.

This French comedy of manners follows the romantic tribulations of David (Emmanuel Mouret) and Anne (the delightful Frederique Bel), two Parisian flatmates who can't quite recognise that they're also soulmates!It's chock full of wry observation concerning those many shy, awkward, tentative steps into romance; a film of dry wit and considerable charm. Credit is due to all concerned for this engaging effort.
