I finally tested the 24 lbs thrust watersnake motor today. . I used it for kayak fishing. I was out in the ocean for around 3 hours running the motor on and off at both speed all the while. Started with a battery reading of 13.6 and ended at 13.0. I charged the battery with a 4 amp charger and was at full charge of 14.4 in 5 hours. I am a newbie with this stuff. But it seems to me that if I get 3 hours from 13.6 to 13.0 then I should get a lot more mileage from 14.4. Bottom lines: It works, it is power efficient, it is light and it is quiet too.
