It was easy to use, and I haven't experienced any problems with this sealant. I used the sealant when replacing the outdoor spigot on the house and it worked. The sealant red color didn't matter because it's a faucet on the outside of the house.

I used this to make a gasket for an oil pan. It worked great, just like the Permatex I normally use. Good product at a good price.

Full disclosure - I've not yet tried this RTV on any critical joints yet. By the time you get deep enough into an automotive project where it's time to deploy the RTV, you don't want to take ANY chances on an inferior RTV which would require a total do-over of the project.That said, I've used this for a couple of non-critical applications and it seems to work great so far.

Have always used the other red stuff but needed a larger quantity for a few marine jobs, This stuff came through with flying colors. It was easy to use in a normal caulk gun. Setup was fast and secure.

My hand was cramping from having to use the smaller tooth paste style tubes of RTV, and I upgraded to this style. Never look back. Honestly, still worth it even if it dries up prematurely or you dont get to finish the tube. The ease of use beats the heck out of hand squeezing.

This was easy to work with and cured in the appropriate time. I can't really speak to the long term life of it yet, but it was easy to use.

I've only used once so far, for a transfer pump for my water barrels, but it sealed and it works. So for my usage, very to pleased with the results.
