Love it .. but
Amazing , I honestly can’t believe there isn’t more products like this one. It almost fits all needs, the only draw back is there isn’t a mode to have a constant beep. It beeps for five seconds , then goes off for five seconds. Then continues for 30mins. I would love to see one that just constantly beeps while the door is open. Longer than 30 mins as well. Otherwise this product is perfect. Thank you!

Works great
Incredibly easy setup and works just as I was hoping. The settings for delaying the alarm are just what we needed.

Saved me Grief a Few Times, Already
The double doors of the fridge don't always close properly. My kid would get a snack at night. Many times I would come down in the morning to find the fridge doors partially open and the internal temp at 55º Fahrenheit. This alarm prevents that.

One minor design improvement desired
The product works as advertised. I placed this on the front door of my parents house. They are older and have a large house with a new inhabitant: a puppy. (They live on a busy road, so if the dog got out through the front door, this would be a dangerous and stressful problem.)The design-change I would like to see, is for the siren to emit CONSTANT sound after the delay is reached (the delay, in seconds, is adjustable.). And just to be clear, no buttons are pressed to reset the device. Just close the door. The current design emits sound for a few seconds, but then goes silent for a while before emitting the siren sound again. This “sound-pause-sound” behavior, is not desired.Edit: After one month, the unit continues to do its job--and has caught the door accidentally left ajar at least once. I'm uploading photos to this review to show what I believe will be the primary challenge for persons mounting this to a door: alignment. You'll have to get creative to make the buzzer unit align evenly with the magnet. I used a pair of medicine bottle lids, which did the trick--but then I realized hot glue was a no-go. After finding the right glue, the product hasn't fallen off in spite extreme weather changes (below freezing, then over 80F two days apart, humid, dry etc.)The second unit I'm buying right now, will have to mount on the exterior-side of a large exterior door, because that door's interior molding is far too extreme to make use of the pill bottle lid trick. We'll see how this goes : ).

SECURITY ALARM
Easy to use, locate and works well, Got this to aide in keeping track of an Alzheimer family member so that he doesn't sneak out without anyone knowing.

Happy with the alarm
Very easy to install and serves it's purpose. A utility door was consistently being propped open and this now notifies the vendors they must close the door.

This alarm is worthless after 120 minutes
I bought this for my basement freezer.Scenario. You are going to the park. The car is packed you just remember that everything is in the cooler except the meat. You bring the cooler to your freezer, load the meat in and close the freezer door and it doesn't shut all the way. You run out the door. Spend 3 hours at the park and come home to no alarm. No indication anything is wrong. Next thing you know.. that half cow you bought is now unfrozen and your electric bill went up 200$ THANKS FOR NOTHING FRIDDGI What halfwit designed this thing? There should be NO auto off EVER. Who wants an auto off? Which is worse? blowing through a few AAA batteries? or losing 2000$ of meat?"Mode D - Alert after 60 seconds, a reminder every 30s, auto stop after 120min or door closed (Basement, Freezer door...)."

Thanks, I needed that! In fact, I discovered that I need three of them!
Yes, thanks, I needed that! And, yes, in fact, I discovered that I did need three of them!I needed two for my refrigerator in the kitchen and one on my upright freezer in the garage. My refrigerator has French doors with a bottom freezer drawer, so I needed one alarm for the frig doors (it's so easy for me to inadvertently leave one door slightly ajar that it has happened about once a month) and one for the freezer drawer.I initially ordered one of these for my frig and a different Friggi alarm for my freezer (FRIDGGI - Freezer Door Alarm with Delay When Left Open, 60sec, 120sec, 180sec Reminders, Refrigerator and Fridge Door Alarm or Chime, Low/Loud 80dB to 110dB). I'm not totally satisfied with the one I ordered for my freezer (it's not loud enough to hear inside the house, and it takes too long until it alarms) so I've ordered a second one for the upright, one of this type to add to the first. I'm leaving the first one on because it has a different low beeping sound every 10 seconds as a reminder, so I want both alarms on the upright freezer because both serve a different purpose, at least for me. The door to the upright is critical with a lot of 'money' at risk inside if the frozen food were to thaw!I have my current unit on the frig French doors set to Mode C - Alert after 30 seconds, a reminder every 20s, auto stop after 60min or door closed - so it alerts at the 30 second point which is quite short because one often needs more than 30 seconds to decide, but I find it to be a helpful reminder, so I NEVER screw up now! When my two new units arrive, I will set the garage's upright freezer alarm on Mode B - Alert after 10 seconds, a reminder every 15s, auto stop after 30min or door closed - because I want that freezer door shut ASAP (because the cold air empties immediately on an upright freezer unit as compared to a chest freezer or a freezer drawer). I'll set the new alarm for the frig freezer drawer to Mode D - Alert after 60 seconds, a reminder every 30s, auto stop after 120min or door closed - because I often need more time looking inside this drawer and time is not of the essence in a drawer as compared to an upright freezer.Installation was a snap!I left the garage upright door open once and everything thawed out. Refreezing resulted in frozen lumps and a disaster. These alarms are a critical reminder as we too often are in a rush and can easily not quite get a door fully closed --- and may not discover it for hours.
