While this Comfee rice cooker doesn't have the bells and whistles of the premium Japanese brands, it cooks just as well. Having used premium Japanese rice cookers for the last 20 years, and now being the only frequent rice eater in the house, I decided it was time to downsize to a cooker with a smaller counter footprint. This fits the bill. Tiny footprint, perfectly cooked rice and oatmeal, and a just plain cute factor. I haven't experienced any issues with the device touch pad as some have mentioned in reviews. I do miss having an onboard clock to set an actual time for cooking completion, as opposed to having to add up the hours to delay completion. At this price point however, it is a minor negative.

I really do love this rice cooker it’s so cute and it cooks rice perfectly. Haven’t tried out the other settings but I have cooked frozen meatballs in here and they come out so juicy.

Excellent rice cooker for the price! Durable and efficient. Versatile use. Cooks a good amount of rice quickly. Stays hot longer than most! Would buy again!

After using it regularly—about 3 to 4 times a week—since November, I’ve found it very reliable for cooking white rice and making quick soups or instant noodles.👍 What stands out:Compact design fits perfectly in small kitchens or studio apartments.White rice cooks evenly and consistently — soft and fluffy every time.Auto warm function is convenient for keeping food warm without overcooking.Non-stick inner pot makes it easy to clean and prevents rice from sticking.Quick cook time helps save time during busy days.🔍 What could be improved:There is no dedicated “boil” or “soup” mode. I’ve had to use the white rice setting for making soup or instant noodles, which means waiting about 10–20 minutes to reach boiling. It still works, but could be more efficient with a proper mode.🧼 Maintenance and build quality:The non-stick pot is very easy to clean, and I’ve had no issues with the buttons or durability so far.🎯 Who it's for:Highly recommended for students, people living alone, or anyone with limited counter space. It’s affordable, user-friendly, and does its job well for small portions.

This rice cooker is perfect if you don’t have much time to cook meals for work. It’s compact size allows you to leave it at your work and only have to bring the ingredients the next morning. It’s nice to have many options so you are not stuck eating the same thing every day. It can cook chicken, beef, or any other meat or vegetable easily. Easy to clean as well.

UPDATE: Today, I used the mini rice cooker to cook 2 cups of rice and set it to the "Quick Rice" setting, which should have lasted 30 minutes, as displayed, but it actually took 42 minutes! I'm not sure if the cooker detects weight and adjusts the time based on the amount of rice, but next time, I'll use just 1 cup and see if it really finishes in 30 minutes.This mini rice cooker is amazing! It makes perfect steamed rice every time. Although there are other cooking options available with this device, I haven't tried them yet, after all it's meant for rice!The maximum capacity of this rice cooker is 1.5 cups of rice. The "quick rice" setting is set for 30 minutes, and I’ve had great results using the standard 30-minute duration for both minimum and maximum rice loads.The only minor issue I’ve noticed is that the timer counts down in 5-minute intervals until it reaches the final 5 minutes, at which point it counts down by 1-minute intervals. I’m not sure why it works this way, but it’s a small inconvenience.Once the timer finishes, the rice cooker automatically switches to a "keep warm" mode and displays a stopwatch showing how long it has been keeping the rice warm, measured in only hours.Overall, I haven’t experienced any problems with this rice cooker, it works great!—𝓰𝓸𝓭𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼
