This idem was necessary. I had a total hip replacement. My chair height toilet was just too low to use. So I ordered this item from Amazon. The cushion is very soft.There are cushion handles on each side. The seat lifts up . The height is adjustable. It was easy to set up. I felt very secured using it. I have told many of my friends about this product and some have ordered themselves one. I highly recommend this product.

I really like this over the toilet seat. I am 6 feet tall. This is the best over the toilet seat ever I have problems with my knees and it really helps me to sit up very very high. I’m glad I bought it if you told this is the best to buy for your toilet it fits perfectly right over your seat

It was fairly easy to put together. I liked that it had a variety of settings for width and height. It is comfortable for both of us and we are very satisfied.

Wrote the maker regarding the seat. The opening seems to be too large for comfort. Asked if there was a smaller seat but have not received an answer. Other than that, it's great.

Seat is light duty, cracked after a few uses.

Fits well over existing toilet, has levelers for floor, large toilet seat, sturdy. A little hard to assemble but once you find out where all the parts go it's easier
