Umpqua Oats, No Mush All Natural Premium Oatmeal Packets, Custom Milled & Non-GMO (Fruit & Nut, Pack of 12)

Unless you want to buy the little cups, it looks like the only way you can buy this Umpqua oatmeal is a minimum of 4 boxes, which is about $24. (As of today, there also was a wait of 6 days for new stock). I bought the 4-box choice and I enjoyed all the flavors. And it's true that you only need one packet -- like most people I think, I normally use two packets per bowl of the more familiar brands.I am guessing that because the cereal is more substantial and has better quality ingredients, it naturally is going to cost more. It's a nice chewy hot cereal, versus the mush of something like Quaker instant oatmeal. Topped with blueberries or other fresh fruit, it really does feel you up. I cooked mine with milk instead of water.I don't know that kids would like this cereal because it's full of nuts and seeds and so, requires some serious chewing.I recommend you try it and if your food budget allows, you might want to stick with it. Again, it's good quality. And I probably will buy it again at some point, just not as my regular breakfast cereal, more like an occasional treat.

i love this brand of oatmeal but seems to have disappeared from the shelves of my local whole foods stores - it costs more from amazon but i paid for part of it with ponts

This oatmeal is quick to make and reasonably filling. I use less water than recommended because I like it a little chewy. If I need it to keep me full longer, I add cashew butter. Other nut butters would probably be good too.

I got the variety pack & there were 2 extra berry packets to try included. Cool! After trying 5 flavors My husband and I preferred the almond vanilla and apple cranberry flavor is the best. They had the most flavor and tasted pretty delicious. We like the simpleIngredients. I came back to purchase those 2 flavors by themselves and noticed that they cost quite a bit more here than they do elsewhere.. Think WM… Will buy more here if they match competitors lower pricing.4 stars due to 3 of the flavors werent as tasty as the 2 we preferred. But that’s just us. I love this product. It's easy to prepare at the office, and it's so filling and satisfying. There are nuts and berries which provide nice contrasting textures. I was excited to get this oatmeal, but was disappointed to realize that the "Best By" date had come and gone months before I ordered the oatmeal. Amazon provided a refund. I still love this product and will order it again.

This is the sirloin (or truffle mushroom) of instant oatmeal. Nothing else compares! Check out the oat grain size and how it holds up after cooking. No tiny shreds of something turning into an amorphous, gluey mass. For the maple pecan version, the maple tastes as it should and the pecan pieces are large enough to be easily identifiable. Most large commercial brands are vague tasting and whatever is supposed to be in them is seldom very visible.

Far and away the best oats ever and not just as compared to other instant oats...every bit as good or better as the long cooking steel grind oats I usually cook. Game changer oats lol. Although taste is fantastic, it is the TEXTURE that is just other worldly. If you think oatmeal is just oatmeal, you won’t after trying these

Best instant oatmeal out there. Natural taste and gluten free. My first choice for breakfast almost daily! Very easy to make too.
