It works excellent, it is powered completely by sunlight. My father-in-law loves to see the little birds that stop there in the morning.

So nice to be able to have a fountain that I don't have to be concerned about plugging in.

My bird bath isn't that large, so all of the attachments made a wonderful high fountain of water. However, I had to keep filling it with water multiple times a day to keep it running. I finally just kept the bottom piece on so there is a bubbling of water when the sun hits it, but it doesn't empty the bird bath.

Finally set this up outside on a nice sunny day. It just periodically spits ups some water. Like intermittent windshield wipers. A complete waste of money, and it’s too late for me to return it.

Works great, I wasn’t expecting it to work so well. Just put in the sun and it works immediately. The water sprays pretty high and the different sizes are a great option.

Honestly, this little thing works so good it shoots the water right out of the shallow bird bath within an hour. It really has some power. If you intend to use this in some other place besides a 2 or 3 inch shallow bird bath, you will be pleasantly surprised as it works very well. I don't want to fill the bird bath several times a day, so unfortunately I am returning this because it is more powerful than my intention. Nice for a change.

Excellent solar fountain. Works consistently. Had three going from spring thaw to fall frost. To anyone complaining that theirs stopped working: Did you follow the instructions in the booklet about cleaning the filter and the impeller? About once a week, I just pry off the small plastic external filter, rinse it, sometimes swipe it with a toothbrush, then put it back on, fill up the bird bath again, and put it in to run. Lots of things can clog it: Tiny bird feathers, cut grass, pollen, bits of leaves, anything that’s blown into the bird bath. At the end of the season, I take apart the whole thing, including removing the impeller, and wash every part with mild detergent and a toothbrush. Doing so gets rid of dirt, bits of algae, etc. Let them all air dry, store for the winter, and they’re good to go in the spring.

I was surprised at how well this actually worked! Perfect for my little back porch!
