The cleanest my laundry has been in 30 years!
After only one wash, my sheets, towels and socks are finally as clean as they were 30 years ago when laundry soap with phosphates was still available. The dinginess is gone and the whites are white again. I was shocked and delightedat the difference. I have disliked the big name brand liquid laundry soaps for YEARS because they just don’t clean as well, use optical brighteners, too much fragrance, etc. All of which coat your laundry, but at least in Minnesota that’s the only thing you’re going to find at the grocery store or Walmart. Because I know phosphates are hard on lakes and other environmental concerns, I won’t use this every time, but I will use it on a regular basis to keep my laundry clean like it used to be. Worth every penny. Great product, recommend!

The fix for hard water and laundry
I think it's ridiculous that phosphates had to be removed from detergents. I'm not convinced the small amounts used for detergents that go through sewage treatment or through a septic system are the cause of algae bloom from stormwater runoff. I understand needing to remove phosphates from other processes such as agricultural uses that were in large quantities and could wash directly into streams. With that said, I live over a karst system and our water is very "hard" from all the minerals. The result of this is all our laundry gets dingy looking after several washes. Whites just don't look very white even with the use of bleach and colors look a little less vibrant. Over several years of trying to fix this problem I tried several different things. I tried every major type of detergent brand and type (powder, liquid, pods) along with laundry additives (Oxi, borax, baking soda). I tried varying amounts of detergents to make sure I wasn't using too much soap. I don't use liquid softeners so that wasn't the issue. I got a top load Speed Queen that uses several gallons of water in hopes that maybe lower water usage may have been responsible for not rinsing thoroughly. None of this really solved the problem. This detergent is the only thing that's really helped the problem. I think even my older laundry items have gotten less dingy after a few washes. The laundry comes out very clean and has a very pleasant but not overpowering smell.Highly recommend.

Does a good job but. . . .
I like that Bubble Bandit Laundry Detergent provided measurement guidelines. It did a very nice job on a load of whites where I did not use bleach. My rating is based on the scent. For me, it's awful. Bubble Bandit: Please make an unscented version.Edited to add: Ordered the 2-pack but received only 1. There's no option to ask the seller to send the missing item, bot I have to return it.

Great For Extra Dirty or Sweaty Laundry
My husband sweats a lot! In fact he gets Botox shots in his hands, feet, and underarms at the dermatologist to help control it. However his workout clothes and other work clothes just were not getting clean. I researched and found this laundry powder because his clothes were still smelling musty after being laundered. This has really helped! I add this product to the wash and use it as a pre-wash, soak solution and it’s been a game changer. No more sweaty smell. His laundry is actually clean and odor free now.

Works fantastic, but bags do not close
This is, by far, the #1 best laundry detergent that you could ever purchase in the USA! It works INCREDIBLY WELL at getting your clothes clean — it makes your whites ACTUALLY WHITE AGAIN, and it makes your colors ACTUALLY BRIGHT AGAIN!! Also, this detergent smells FANTASTIC and it conveniently comes with a scooper too. The only real problem here is the same problem that comes with ALL of Bubble Bandit's products. The plastic ziploc bags that they use are terrible. I have purchased this product 4 times, and every single time, the ziploc bag that it ships in does not close properly. The ziploc mechanism on the bag doesn't work, so we had to put this bag into our OWN ziploc bag that does close properly. With their dishwashing powder, that bag just totally split apart, so we had to pour all of their dishwashing powder into our own ziploc bag. So while Bubble Bandit creates a great PRODUCT, they have serious issues with the BAGS that their products ship in.By the way, to explain why this laundry detergent works so well, PHOSPHATES are required to keep your dishes clean, your clothes clean, anything clean! But overzealous regulators in the USA have tried to prevent us from getting our hands on these glorious phosphates, even though they were in all cleaning products just a few decades ago! THANK GOD FOR BUBBLE BANDIT to bring back phosphates to our cleaning detergents! THANK YOU, BUBBLE BANDIT!

It works!!
This is a very good product and I'll keep buying it although it's a little bit expensive. I was finally able to get my white towels looking white without the use of excessive clorox which destroyed the fabric. Im happy to have discovered it and highly recommends this product.

Good Product
I want a detergent that will perform better on stain removal and overall cleaning. So far, I am pleased with this detergent. I am hoping that there will be less buildup of moldy gunk in the washing machine that requires the HE tub clean cycle.

Fertilizers are much worse. Also
I would give this product 5 Stars in terms of performance, scent and how well it leaves fabrics...However the reason for 4 Stars is the insanely slow shipping. We are in So. California, and packages from Germany or The UK have arrived faster. This powder detergent has natural phosphates, and is the reason it cleans and rinses so well. Not too long ago all 50 States had phosphates in most laundry and dishwater detergents. Phosphates were tied & link to algae growth in bodies of water, but it has been proven that this is maybe 2-3% of the reason. Fertilizers are much worse. Also, the ingredients that companies used to replace phosphates are worse for the Earth and make most detergents poor performers. The scent of this powder is light and clean...kind of like old fashioned detergent. A little goes a long way and as long as you do not need it in a timely manner....it's a great product.
