Rubbish!
Bought as stocking filler for my crafty daughter. She is very competent as making and creating but this was beyond her - and me! It’s essentially double sided sticky tape. Once you have created your item it’s sticky and can’t be put down unless you want it stuck to the table, etc. what is the point in that?! It can’t come in contact with any material without picking up fibres and ruining the look of the creation. Heating and blowing up the tape into a bubble is ridiculous difficult and definitely not for children.Save your money - don’t bother.

Good value
The media could not be loaded. This mini nano tape kit is ok, for its value it has a few things for a child to get entertained. Please see video for detailed items in the box. I would recommend for a trip or just to keep them busy during holidays.

Frustratingly sticky!
I’m always keen to try new crafts, so I was thrilled to be able to try this one, having seen a few nano craft makes online recently. Firstly, the positives : the set comes in a lovely shiny metallic box, really appealing and well-designed, and with a good amount of bits and bobs in the pack- two rolls of nano tape, a syringe for bubble bowing, a good size tub of slime, some ready-cut cardboard animal projects, a small bag of bubble fillers, a permanent marker pen, and a small bag of fastenings. And there’s a link to tutorials, plus an instruction sheet with step by step instructions. I had a go at the fish in a bag…. and tbf I did end up with a finished product that sort-of looks like what it’s supposed to. However, on the negative side, I found the whole process incredibly frustrating. The nano tape is incredibly difficult to craft with…it’s REALLY sticky!, and very pliable….trying to form a pocket to contain the slime was near-on impossible as the tape just wanted to stick to itself, and then when I finally did get some slime in, I couldn’t close the edges properly and the slime kept extruding out! After half an hour (and a lot of wasted nanotape later), I finally finished it- only to discover that when you peel off the protective layer at the end, its then sticky on the outside too!….so there’s really not much you can do with your fish in a bag, apart from attach it to a keychain and hang it in mid-air, because the moment it touches anything or is laid down, it sticks to the surface and has to be pulled off, which then distorts its shape! Maybe I’ve missed something, but for me, sadly this just wasn’t fun. All in all, for £5 at time of reviewing its a very fair price for the amount of bits you get in this craft kit…..but it’d take a very patient child ( or adult!) to achieve the limited range of creations….and since there’s not much you can do with them anyway, I think I’ll be saving the remainder of my nanotape for its true purpose…for sticking things together!

Save your money and don’t buy this.
We sadly received a returned or opened box and it had all been taped back together. It came without instructions, we tried to use on line instructions following the qr code on the box but this didn’t help. It’s very tricky to use as an adult I couldn’t do it so I think any children would struggle. Anything you do create soon pops/deflates or gets covered in fluff as it’s so sticky

Good value
My son has wanted nano tape for a while (due to the many videos online) so I bought this box. We had fun making the fish bowl and then we tried another experiment we’d seen online. Good value and fun to use.

Disappointed
Bought this for my son who loves all crafts. Was impossible make bubbles out of. When we did manage to make a bubble, there is no way of removing it from the straw/pump as would just stuck and deflate. One very disappointed boy.
