A fun read!
I’m not one to leave a lot of reviews but I want the author to continue so here goes:Pros:Limited litrpg elements but they’re there and don’t feel out of place even without a “ system” behind it.Good characterization with interesting personalities behind the main character and his father.Clever writing and good prose. The author trusts the reader enough to not just exposit relevant information and instead seed it into conversation naturally.Cons:Given the limited perspective of the protagonist it is slow going when developing other characters. That said, it does occur. This book felt more akin to the first part of a two part book. There were a few plots brought to a head at the end but little was resolved here. I understand more is to come but it seemed cut a little short to me.Overall, for a kindle unlimited book I’m giving it a 5/5. We’re it a normally published book it would perhaps be a 7.5/10 with potential to be improved by the introduction of its sequel(s). We’ll worth a read for those who love the fantasy and sword and sorcery sub genre or a fan of world building/resource management within a novel.Best of luck to the author and please hurry, but don’t rush, to provide the next installment. This reader will be waiting.

Great immersion read, strong world building.
This was intelligent writing, with great character development and the author has built a world easy to imagine yourself in. A great read with believable characters. There is an interesting magic system that is well thought out. The castle building is realistic and plausible. One of the things that improves the immersion is a structured medieval economy that binds the world together. Im looking forward to book 2.

Enticing Introduction
This book is all it's stated to be by the author. It's been a long time since I've been as immersed in a story as this, the world feels real and reactive in a way I find difficult to describe. There are many intriguing kernels of world building and mystery thrown in. However, I never felt the world itself was truly exciting. The lore of the world is so heavily veiled that I don't see an actual direction yet, which is frustrating. The one true complaint I have is the use of LitRPG. Frankly, it's a gimmick in this novel at most. It's such a simplified version that it entirely crosses into the territory of being unnecessary. Maybe it will become relevant later. With all that said, the book was well worth reading, and I very much look forward to the next book in the series. Where I can hopefully see a little more depth and exploration of the mysteries of the world.

Finally a good Kingdom building book
Only have positive things to say for this new series, I love the slow build approach, watching him tackle each project with logic and seeing realistic setbacks is amazing. I believe most series like this fail due to pacing, within 1 year they go from knight to powerful king and is just u realistic, this series feels real and nothing is just falling into the MC’s lap. I’ll be heading to patreon now to continue this awesome adventure, looking forward to book 2!

LOVE THIS BOOK!
This book is great!! I love the magic system, the characters are interesting, there is a good bit of hardship for the main character but also some innovation. And honestly I find the kingdom building super interesting! I’ve always been wanting to read a series like this where someone builds up a kingdom, with projects and expanding a fief, etc.The magic system is just a bonus that makes it even more interesting.I hope the series doesn’t end any time soon!

good kingdom building series
It’s very different that the books I am used to. Everything isn’t handed to MC on a silver platter. He has to work hard and think smart to accomplish his goal.In that regards, the book is fantastic. It is well written. It flows very well and most importantly, I was entertained

Stellar
A breath of fresh air, perfect book to open a new niche in the litrpg genre. Defining traits of character growth and kingdom building. Highly recommend if you’re feeling burnt out of the the common chosen one tropes and characters who learn nothing through a series.
