Wagner Lighting PC579 Standard Multi-Purpose Light Bulb Box of 10

I own a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport, and this bulb worked fantastic. I finally have light where there has been none over the last few years. Getting the plastic push button cover off is the most difficult part, but can be done with a small screwdriver inserted halfway down the side of it. Once you done that, simply twist out the old bulb, and twist in the new...viola! Lights!

I have a 2005 Ford Excursion, and the front map light bulbs are soldered, yes soldered to the holder. So when your map light goes out, you have to solder and re-solder the bulbs back to the holder. Unless.... you just take the whole holder out and install this Wagner PC579 right into it. Fits perfectly, no soldering, just twist and push and BAM, done. I took this a step further and took out the bulb from the Wagner PC579 and pushed in a type 194 LED bulb, and now my truck has LED's!!! Took 5 mins.

I don't know if they are defective, but they keep failing. Unless there is an electrical issue in my van they are not very good quality. At least they fit.

The title says "Wagner Lighting PC579 Standard Multi-Purpose Light Bulb Box of 10 " and I got 1 bulb!Down in the description it says quantity 1. 1 What??? 1 box w/10 bulbs? That's what I expected! Instead I'm shipped a single bulb. Dishonest advertisement.

Fixed both map lights in my 2005 Grand Caravan with this! Don't pay dealer prices! This is an exact fit. Took about 2 minutes to install and I was done.This guide will show you how to replace the bulbs: [...]But with this brand of bulb, you don't need to cut anything off the bulb. It just works.

As soon as I received, the bulb in the van started to work again. I like it because it scared the other bulb enough to start working again. That's worth the money alone.

Glad I was able to find these bulbs on line. No problems with the order I got exactly what I ordered. It would have cost just as much if I had ordered them from a local chain of auto part stores. Come to find out the design of the map light assembly by Chrysler is the main source of all my problems. The assembly is very cheap and unreliable. The bulbs are in constant need of adjustment in order to keep working correctly. No wonder Chrysler needed a bail out with crappy parts like that in all their autos.

Great price, exactly what we needed, and received the item quickly. I order most of my items from Amazon because of the things I mentioned above. We only needed one miniature lamp but decided to order two because it was so reasonable. I'm glad we did because the other dashboard lamp went out a week later. However I knew where to go if I had only ordered one. I couldn't locate the lamp locally when I came to my senses and ordered it from Amazon. Thanks Amazon for being there everytime I've needed specialty items.
