International Music Co. Sibelius Concerto in D Minor Op.47 (Violin and Piano) Paperback

Great book, except there is one flat in the key signature. The publisher messed up, not the printer.Otherwise, this is an amazing score!

Everything worked as advertised, and when that happens -- that's a great experience !!

Great edition, it holds true to the International standard. Also, I love their paper--it's the easiest to write and erase on.

Trying to find a new concerto to play? Give this a try.. I am not as daring. The International version is as good as ever, enjoy!

I didn't order this...

Excellent edition - a few mistakes in the violin part - one or two wrong notes and a couple bad markings, but nothing major. The third movement is marked Allegro Ma Non Troppo and it's actually 'Tanto'. Most of the fingerings and bowings of Francescatti are good. The piano part (Gretchaninoff orchestral reduction) is playable. I've played it with a couple different pianists and no issues there. The Sibelius is an old warhorse...if you've reached a high level as a violinist, it's one that you learn. It is my favorite concerto, or one of them.Not sure why there is currently a subtitle of 'Thomastik' of this sheet music...Thomastik makes strings, they don't publish sheet music, at least not to my knowledge. This product is the International Music Co. edition.

¡OJO! El título de la obra dice que es de Sibelius, pero en la foto es una obra de Haydn y fue la que enviaron.No obstante, les doy hasta 3 estrellas porque la devolución y el reembolso fueron muy rápidos, en el transcurso de una semana. Un poco de malentendido, pero satisfecho con el reembolso.
