Castile Soap Bar; Aloe

I appreciate that this soap is cruelty-free, mildly scented, and a bar. Unfortunately, the soap leaves a filmy residue, even after extra rinses.

I've tried moisturizing soaps like Dove in the past, but I always feel like it leaves a residue on my skin. The strongest indicator being that my underarms would still feel somewhat gummy from the deodorant, and it made me feel not as clean. So I moved on to other soaps, and I found Kirk's Castile soap. Now this was something good... I felt it would actually clean me up, leaving me squeaky clean everywhere (including my underarms), and I didn't feel like there was any residue leftover.The one thing I would caution against when using this soap is that it tends to cause a burning sensation on sensitive parts of my skin if left on for too long. Keeping that in mind, this soap is still 5 stars for me.

Size is just right. Not small but not too big. Lightly scented and lathers up nicely.

I can’t begin to explain my hyper-picky sensitive skin. This is so gentle but SUPER impressed how well this cleans. I was looking for a better way to clean dishes and tired to wasting so much plastic. I can’t believe how well this cleans dishes. Does not leave a residue, no left over soap taste like when you wash your mugs (I overuse soap) cleans any grime right off.I’m so impressed I will be buying all of their products for hair, body and face care. Great brand!

Great quality. The aloe vera is smoother than the original but I like both. It's made from natural ingredients. It's a very old company.
