This is a review of "Force Protein Date & Almond Bar- High Protein, Low Sugar, 12X65G - 21g of Protein"My daughter watches her diet very carefully and was very quick to snaffle these when they arrived. She finds them "really nice and delicious", and she doesn't say that about every protein bar she has tried.I can't try them myself as I hate nuts in anything sweet (don't mind them savoury at all). They come is nice wrapping/packaging too, clearly labelled to show that there is 21g of protein and just 1.9g of sugar in every bar.I can't comment on value for money as they are currently unavailable to order (at time of review) and therefore no price is displayed.- - - - - - - - - -Note: As a member of the Vine program I was supplied with this item free of charge. Firstly, these bars contain wheat protein so are not suitable for Coeliacs like myself who can't eat gluten. I did try a very small blob just to be able to review them and to be honest I'm glad I can't eat them! They're very similar to several other brands of the 'high protein' kind of snack. A chewy squidge that is covered in chocolate.The chocolate part actually tastes ok and the date flavour comes through, but overall, I'm just not that keen on the overall taste or mouth experience. They just taste quite artificial, regardless of what's actually in them.I guess they're targeted at people who are after a hard core protein boost and you get 21g of protein in each bar, but personally I'm more about the taste than the macros so maybe I'm not the target market.
