Solid.
I have this holding an old, heavy Nexus 10 and it is rock solid. It's awesome having my tablet up in the air next to my monitor. It doesn't compress small enough to mount to my glass desktop without some other shim, but I knew that from the product description and specs. Just calling that out here in case someone isn't as diligent in the future.

Good quality but awkward to use.
Seems to be well made. The spring clamp on the device is awkwardly tight and it’s too different to take an iPad Air in and out. It comes with three allen wrenches required to adjust each joint. I wish it didn’t need the wrenches. Thumb screws would be more convenient.

doesn't fit my surface pro
The clamp is just about 1/4 inch too small for my surface pro, which was what I bought it for. I haven't yet found any way to buy a bigger clamp, so I might have to make my own. Other than that the stand seems reasonably sturdy and decently made.

Any position can be reached with a bit of a tweak! Brilliant 5⭐️
I have a 12.9 iPad and an Air I wanted to have both attached to the wall by my bed as I’m bed bound and use them all day every day to access all my online things like banking, Facebook, Netflix..etc nothing was available to hold the bigger pad, then I came across this handy dandy gadget! I order 3 after reading about the build quality and the way it clamps onto shelves and desktop or wherever!I was excited to finally having found a solution to a very annoying problem! Old holders have left big holes in my walls, the build quality meant they broke and needed to be replaced more than twice a year! Then this came up, the fact it held the bigger 12.9 iPad sold it to me right away! Finally I could use my big pad hands free, being disabled with limited use of my arms and hands meant I could not bear to hold them for long, with this all problems were solved the moment it was clamped to the shelf! I have the big pad clamped to the upper shelf and the small to the lower, and my husband was so impressed he bought one for his bed side. They took minuets to install and come with Allen key to tighten up the joins for perfect stability. The parts are metal not flimsy plastic! The clamps that hold the pads are strong and easy to use for getting your pad on and off... hardly and shake well typing. I’ve marked it down by one star as stability with the big pad is not so good, and we had to tighten everything really tight to get it to stop drooping, it’s fine now but don’t want to turn it much incase it goes loose again, but it’s holding up fine, been using for just over a week and I’m so happy with them. You get what you pay for, these even have after care and a parts department how long that will last hard to say, but talking from experience of many many wall and shelf brackets for iPads this has beat all hands down, they even look aesthetically pleasing! Don’t think about it just buy before they run out, as this will change your life if your looking for the ultimate holder for your pad, and there is not one position that can not be reach with a bit of a tweak!😃

Perfect for iPad Pro 12.9.
I purchased this stand to use with my iPad Pro 12.9 mainly for art and drawing.Initially the stand would not support the weight, the lower arm pivot joint just kept falling not tight enough, so I tightened the Allen screw on the pivot thinking that that was for tension but it made no difference. So I contacted the seller and was told to refer to the picture which I have included. The tension is adjusted under the arm which I thought was for the swivel tension not for pivot up and down.Anyway after tightening the screw my iPad is very sturdy and stable... perfect.I think buyers are overlooking or not being aware of this tension adjustment, and as a result think that the stand just isn’t good enough for there needs, but like I have said it supports my iPad Pro 12.9 no problem.Excellent product and excellent customer service 5*.

Good quality solid and sturdy metal stand.
Good quality solid and sturdy metal stand.I've had a few of the plastic "goose neck" stands in the past and they didnt last, this stand, while a little smaller in range, is solid metal and thus much more solid. The stand arrives complete, all you need to do is screw the mount piece into the end of the pre-assembled arm's.For phones and small items there is a space in the stand ends to allow a power cable to be passed through, for larger items placed horizontally in the stand this is not required. You can see a Fire 7inch tablet mounted in my stand in my photos.Feel free to ask any questions, genuinely very pleased with this purchase, if you find this review useful please mark it as such.

Cracked my screen (surface pro)
Its sturdy and feels nice but I would NOT put larger tablets in it. It has cracked the screen of my surface pro 6 (through a screen protector) and I can only put this down to pressure of lack of padding as I was careful putting it in. If you have an iPad mini or something I'm sure it will be perfect but I wouldnt risk my tablet for it. (Absolutely gutted)
