Delicious grey oyster mushrooms
I found these grey oyster mushrooms to be nice and tender. I wash, then soak them in a little water for 10-15 min. I shred the larger ones or the stalk part remains dry. Squeeze out the water and cook in a bit of butter in a slow iron pan. The mushrooms have a slightly sweet flavour - a little different from the white oyster mushrooms. Made butter garlic paneer n mushrooms and mushroom soup.

These dried mushroom are of very good quality.

Useless
Mutton takes lesser time than this to get cooked.I've had better oyster mushrooms before. Even after 1 hour of boiling this one doesn't get soft and feels uncooked when chewing.

Does not cook evenly
Mushrooms do not cook evenly even after soaking n cooking, most of the part is left raw and rigid. won't recommend.

Tasted quite unlike a mushroom
Cooking time is high. Actually I added it to a soup and everything except these were well cooked. Was chewy and I personally didn't like the taste. Probably coz they are dried mushrooms. I won't be buying them again!
